I hate bye weeks. I have a three-headed RB monster taking a vacation and lounging on my bench this week--Ryan Mathews, Reggie Bush and Willis MaGahee. Mendenhall has been making himself at home on in that recline position for the last 6 weeks. So, of course, the one game when I really really need him he's OUT (along with Redman). I was prepared to take a big GOOSE EGG in my RB2 spot this week with Andre Brown-NYG backup (although now that Bradshaw appears to be hobbled by another foot injury, Andre doesn't seem like such a bad play)--- ANYWAY--unless my Rodgers/Cobb combo comes thru with another 60+ points this week--I'm relying on my handcuff Dwyer to somehow pull through. I knew this week was gonna be bad, but I'm not sure how much worse it can get. Geez. Brown and Dwyer--two no names. I'm praying for at least 10 pts combined. This is the whos-who of the bottom-of-barrel left on the WW in this 12 team league-- M. Goodson (OAK) J. Bell and K Smith (DET) B. Powell (NYJ) M. Tolbert (CAR) T. Gerhart (MIN) J. Kuhn (GB) You get the picture--- How bad is this worst RB lineup? Can I get 10pts?

Ouch! That is going to be a tough week for you! Lets hope your WR's can pick up the slack for your RB's!
Hopefully Dwyer or Brown will bring you some TDs this week!

Hopefully Dwyer or Brown will bring you some TDs this week! I'm thinking I should be very happy with just a single TD between them? Yikes!

I feel your pain...Reggie Bush and Turner are both on bye this week..Gonzo, Rivers, and Gates are also all out...forcing me to start Ballard, Powell, Fleener, and Boldin. QB flex league so I picked up Sanchez (best QB available) and put him in instead of Sidney Rice. Looking ugly for me..
In another league, the guy I'm playing (101mitch) is completely screwed. Vick, Charles, McCoy, and Celek are on bye. His backup for Vick, Kolb, is out this week, along with Murray, Mendenhall, and Garcon. He also has bradshaw who is questionable this week. And even if he does play, he'll have a limited role. So now, his starters are Skelton, Bradshaw (if he plays), Felix Jones, Cribbs, Hester, Santana Moss, Steve Smith (CAR), and Scott Chandler...

But I'm considering picking up Dwyer to put in place of Ballard or Powell.....what do you guys think? I'm leaning towards picking him up and dropping Ballard

But I'm considering picking up Dwyer to put in place of Ballard or Powell.....what do you guys think? I'm leaning towards picking him up and dropping Ballard I was eyeing Ballard last week when Brown as on IA (for the second week in a row with concussion symptoms). The fact that Bradshaw was DNP today and Coach didn't hesitate to talk up Brown/Wilson when asked about his run-game plans this weekend--gives me hope. I picked up Dwyer on the WW on Wed--although I tried to get Felix Jones and knew that wasn't gonna happen-- my WW position was 12th. (Ok--I'm #1 in this league right now, so the "love' is limited.) I would really like to just forget about RB this week with Rodgers at QB along with Cobb/Britt/Wayne, TE Rudolph, Legatron, and the Cardinal D. I think all I need is that 10pts at RB to win. *crying a river for my bench points this week*

You know who I like Miss Lacy Phillip Tanner, I'm probably gonna start him over JStew (still thinking about that) Ok--I've also heard the rumors that Tanner might spell Jones (cuz the old man hasn't seen more than 20 carries/game for several years now). I like your bold play, my dear. ;D Although-- considering Bradshaw is hobbled (again) and Andre has proven he can carry the load (*cough cough* Craig nearly won his first game in our league on the back of Andre Brown as a late WW pickup a couple of weeks ago) AND the fact that Dwyer will see ALL the RB carries for PIT (which he has also proven capable of executing), I'm feeling a little more confident about those 10 points.

I died laughing when Andre Brown got the call on the 1 yard line and punched it in for the G-men. He carried the rock a few more times and ended up giving me 10+pts. I was when Dwyer ran all over the CIN D and racked up 125 yds for 14+pts (bonus for over 100yds). The FF gods must have been aligned for me last weekend when my two no-name RBs hauled in a total of 25 points--and I won the game. *cartwheels down the hall and out the door*
