Wow! Really? I wonder if Madden will come next! That game needs so competition! Why do you think Fifa has been getting better and better! It has to keep up with PES!

Wow! Really? I wonder if Madden will come next! That game needs so competition! Why do you think Fifa has been getting better and better! It has to keep up with PES! The reason why they gave up the exclusive rights to NCAA football was so they could maintain the rights to the NFL, per the settlement EA reached with the attorneys. As long as the NFL keeps offering EA the rights, they can renew the NFL license as much as they want from here on out with no opposition. Also, EA not being allowed exclusive rights to NCAA football will only last for 5 years, which means if a competitor doesn't come along and create a better NCAA game, EA will be able to obtain the exclusive license again 5 years from now

Let's just hope 2k picks it up.

I don't believe any one company should have the rights to the NFL/NHL/MLB, its kind of BS to me, because it allows that company to spoil the brand. Look at Madden ever since EA got exclusive rights, it never improved again on the PS2 and its been shitty every year on PS3. NHL, and Fifa have been working on improving every year and have because they have to keep up against 2k and PES.

Guess competition really makes you go the extra step
