i dont like kicking the dog while hes down, but...............i told you so
losing payton WOULD hurt this team and it did which doesnt surprise me. i might be luck to get right on my 8-8 prediction now
but like i said before, they wont be hurt long term. one bad year wont be bad.
get a high draft pick, invest it in a very very very good player, or trade down and get lots of draft picks. not to mention an easier schedule will allow them to get back on top once again.
no need to panic long term

their run defense is attrocious, before this game they were giving up 180+ yards a game on the ground, now it looks even worse You think? ATTENTION ALL FF OWNERS: Your MUST START every week--all the players you have who are facing the Saints. Shit--load up off the WW. There is plenty of points to go around.

A chance to beef up your defense with a few high draft picks. problem is with Drew Brees as your QB I don't see the Saints getting a top five pick.. I don't think its early enough to tank it, because the saints could pull it together and win still 10 games... but if they lose a few more games it might be tempting to tank the season.
