well i hate to say this but the saints season is officially over(well more than likely, only 3 teams in the past 20 years that started 0-3 have made the playoffs). they cant stop the run, their receivers cant catch, brees isnt getting any protection, brees holding out seems to have taken an effect on him and their schedule is only going to get harder. the loss of sean payton is hurting them more than i thought it would

Hate to say it, but I agree. We may get it together in the 2nd half of the season, but it'll probably be too late.

the loss of sean payton is hurting them more than i thought it would I believe so, too. But also, those defensive players who were suspended. J. Charles got nearly 300 yards BY HIMSELF today! (233yds rushing, 55yds receiving) That's INSANE!!!

The Saints season isn't over yet. But right now I do think the Division Title is out of your reach. Atlanta is taking it this year baring a major melt down. That doesn't mean you guys cannot get a wild card, still a lot of football left this year.

Sean Payton is sorely missed. Looks like Gregg Williams is too. I have some advice for the Saints though. Use Sproles as a receiver and stay with P Thomas running the ball. He doesnt get going good til hes had 15 carries.

their run defense is attrocious, before this game they were giving up 180+ yards a game on the ground, now it looks even worse Sorry to throw salt into the wound, but the Chiefs game today has already been added to their team stats on NFL.com, and as of right now, their run defense is giving up 215 yards per game... 60 more than the Bengals, who are ranked 31st right now, allowing 155 rushing yards/game. Wow Looking at the rest of your schedule, you guys are in for a long season if things don't start improving. I honestly wouldn't be shocked if they are 0-5 going into their week 6 bye, but 1-4 is more likely (Packers at Lambeau next week and the Chargers after that). Road games against the Broncos, Giants, and Cowboys, at home against the 49ers, and the Falcons twice (who are going to sweep our division if they keep playing like they are now). Call me crazy, but that's 6 games I just don't see you guys winning... and judging from the last 3 games, I don't think that's much of a stretch to say. But hey, if things don't improve for the Panthers, we'll be there to keep you guys company at the bottom of the division.

He doesnt get going good til hes had 15 carries. im not sure if i would blame the coach or the players. they have good players, their DL and LBs all seem talented enough to be able to not be dead last in defense. the secondary is a little suspect with greer playing even though hes not 100% and robinson seems to be coming into his own, he did have a nice game i completely agree about sproles. he should be used for screen passes and short slant and drag routes, and leave the ground game to thomas and ivory (im still not sold on ingram)
