Please click on the 1st link, and click in Benson's score of 23.60. It is asterisked to indicate a stat correction was applied, in this case 1 pt for a solo tackle. football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/f1/5921/matchup?week=2&mid1=3&mid2=10football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/f1/5921/settings2nd link is scoring settings. Went into commish tools, and there is not even an option for tackles for the offense. Is anyone here in an IDP league (that awards pts for tackles) at NFL that can check and see if Benson was awarded a tackle there too? I believe Yahoo gets their stats directly from NFL, but this one is strange, is it not?

If Benson got a tackle then he gets a point, you can go back to last year to see if Edelman got any points for tackles to verify if you wish. Works both ways, if JPP scores a rushing TD then you get 6 for that

Ace, IDK why it would work that way. Just like there are separate awards for return yds in both the offense (IOP) and the DEF. Other similar examples are INTs (on offense = neg pts for the QB, on DEF AND IDPs = pos pts), and exactly the same for sacks. I think I understand what you're saying though. Only the DEF as a whole unit scores totally separately (from both OFF & IDP). And IDPs pretty much by definition, don't get 'recptns' or 'recvg yds'.
Since you only get awarded tackles if your opponent has the football, I gather this play was on an INT or fumble recovery?
I also know that at MFL you can apply setting to any individual position only, but NFL and Yahoo have nothing like that.

So Rob Housler can be drafted as an IDP?

I also know that at MFL you can apply setting to any individual position only, but NFL and Yahoo have nothing like that. You have it set up so both DEF plus IOPs get return yards , also have it set up so that QBs get negative points for INTs and sacks and the IDPs to get positive points for INTs and Sacks. I think Benson got the tackle off of a Packers turnover, making Benson an IDP temporarily regardless of what is his position. He got a tackle and since he was on the defense, he got the point. I guess what I was trying to say b4 was IDPs can get points for rush/recieve/pass yards and all the other offensive stats and vice versa for the IOPs

I think Benson got the tackle off of a Packers turnover, making Benson an IDP temporarily regardless of what is his position. He got a tackle and ***since he was on the defense***, he got the point. I don't think you meant that. Had to be off a turnover of some kind though. At any rate, obviously not a frequent play/stat for a RB.
