Motherfucker!!! Arggghh! Like... why?? Just why? Fuck it I'm selling my Wake jersey and I'm finding a team who doesn't keep hiring GMs who are smart like tractor! (Not actually, but fuck!) At the very least Suh and Williams will need to find a way to rotate which plays they take off. Le sigh..

S Eric Weddle says he would like to play for a contender and thinks he has 3-5 years left. Says he would be a fit for the Patriots, Panthers, Steelers, and Raiders. According to ESPN, the Steelers are going to "explore" signing Weddle. While I would like Weddle, there is just no way we are going to sign him unless he wants virtually nothing cash wise. Mccourty and Chung were two of the best safeties in the league last season, and Harmon was one of the best backups in the league. Plus we drafted Richards in the second round last year. Pats ran a lot of 3 safety schemes last year with Harmon as the deep safety, Chung in the box, and Mccourty playing a nickel CB role in man sets and covering the middle of the field in zone schemes. Weddle would be the number 3 guy over Harmon, but I don't see the point. The market for him is probably going to be $6-7 Million a year but he might have to settle for around $4 or $5 Million. Just with the whole situation with SD and how it ended.

Yeah that is my expectation as well, and I guarantee he doesn't wind up in New England unless he reduces his expectations to Steve Gregory money, which was less than 3 million per year.

Bruce Irvin to the Raiders. I wonder how much they overpaid.

Pats are showing heavy interest in RB Bilal Powell. Powell would be a great fit in this offense and would leave the Jets with no one. Win-win.

Chris Ivory to Jacksonville makes me happy. He can rotate with Yeldon and we'll have a strong RB group. Just need another good pass rusher and maybe a secondary player.
(also wouldn't mind an O-lineman)
