Jesus, 10 million a year for a part of a season of decent play.. Man is the QB market inflated.. I'd say he is worth maybe 5 mil at this point in his career. Way too much to prove still. Could be Elway has a talk with him and they get him for 7-9. But honestly with all the money being dished out to mediocre QBs like Cutler and Kaep, 11 mil isn't all that for a guy who showed outstanding leadership and the main issues he had were purely due to inexperience. With a full off-season as the starter to learn the offense and develop chemistry with the top receivers, he's in a good spot. Brock would be stupid to leave with the team and coaching around him. The salary cap is getting raised every year. It's ridiculous how much teams shell out to a guy for him to throw picks and win 6-9 games annually, but it's the league we live in now.

The thing is, both Cutler and Kaep had A LOT more substance on them before their deals than Osweiler does at the moment.

The thing is, both Cutler and Kaep had A LOT more substance on them before their deals than Osweiler does at the moment. Worth the gamble. But even then I was using them as comparisons to how skewed the QB market is. Brock is a unique case. It's gonna be a 4 year deal max for Brock. I doubt there's a lot of guaranteed money. Incentive laden contract that, say he doesn't work out, won't cost too much to get rid of him. Would you rather say "nah, 10 mil a year is too much, let's draft one"? Or take a balanced risk and give him the reins because he looks ready to do what we drafted him to do? (4 years ago)

No Theo Riddick? Granted 43 rushes for 133 yards isn't good but 80 catches for 697 and 3 touchdowns should put him towards the bottom of the list at least

I know you basically said this is your opinion and whatnot. But how can you still have Lacy and Murray so high.

I know you basically said this is your opinion and whatnot. But how can you still have Lacy and Murray so high. Because clearly Kelly misused Murray so horribly like the rest of his Offense. He was a classic example of trying to fit a round peg into a square hole. Also, Lacy is still talented and his drop off was most likely due to his playing weight.

Maybe it was his awful rushing stats that turned me off. I did feel like I was missing something with him though cuz I remember some buzz here and there about him last season. And that would put him around the middle/bottom. Somewhere in that area since that is insanely impressive Receiving stats for a RB.

This logic works for Murray because he's not in chips system, but not for Bradford? I think it's just because Murray isn't in Philadelphia.
