Jon Robinson is the Titans GM, and I still think Mularkey is the most likely to get the job, although McDaniels certainly has a chance now, especially if the Pats either: win the superbowl, or, lose next week to KC.

Rapaport announced the Mularkey will win the HC job via an anonymous source today, and that Titans OC Jason Michael is fired. Ray Horton and Dick Lebeau likely to be retained.

Titans GM Jon Robinson: "We're open to trading the #1 pick."
It's unprecedented for a #1 pick to be up for grabs this fast. Robinson knows what he's doing and I'm all but certain the Titans won't make the first pick in this draft

Titans hire falcons WR coach Terry Robiskie for offensive coordinator, who's coached a great unit the last few years in Atanta despite consistent injuries to star players. And he's worked with Harry Douglas. Loved the hire. Robiskie won a super bowl with TB.

Peter King alleged two very interesting things today: 1. The Philadelphia Eagles are the most likely team to trade up to the #1 pick. 2. That the Titans have received a "solid offer" from one team, unnamed to this point. 3. That one NFL GM told him anonymously that he expects the Titans to succeed in trading down.
Tale of the tape: My expectations for a trade by date- February when Robinson says it's for sale: 75-25 trade March when we haven't gotten any news for a month 50-50 RGIII signs in Cleveland: 95-5 no trade This news and Robinson saying a trade is 50-50: 60-40 no trade.
Who would we draft at #8? I'm sure Robinson has a board stretching even farther than the top 8, but this would be my top 10 for the Titans: 1. Laremy Tunsil, OT, Ole Miss 2. Myles Jack, OLB, UCLA 3. Jalen Ramsey, CB, Florida State 4. Ronnie Stanley, OT, Notre Dame 5. Vernon Hargreaves, CB, Florida 6. Joey Bosa, OLB, Ohio State 7. LaQuon Treadwell, WR, Ole Miss 8. Shaq Lawson, OLB, Clemson 9. Jack Conklin, OT, Michigan State 10. Taylor Decker, OT, Ohio State
Could you even put an Ohio State tackle on the same line as Taylor Lewan? Interesting.

Could you even put an Ohio State tackle on the same line as Taylor Lewan? Interesting. I would follow the Titans for only this reason if that were to happen. Conklin would be interesting too coming from MSU

The Titans have traded the first pick to the L.A. Rams
Tennessee will send the top selection along with its fourth- (No. 113) and sixth-round (No. 177) picks this year to the Rams in exchange for Los Angeles' first-round pick (No. 15), two second-round selections (Nos. 43 and 45) and a third-round pick (No. 76) in 2016. The Titans also will get the Rams' first- and third-round picks in 2017. - per ESPN
Tennessee now has four picks in the top 45.
