Twenty years ago, you rescued my beloved Packers from the likes of Randy Wright and Don Majkowski, and restored this historic franchise to its rightful place atop the NFL. I can't imagine ever seeing another Packers player wearing ole' number four--and I'm glad I never will. Thank you, Brett Favre.

Finally able to watch it today. Many tears and just the pre-show watched thus far. packdog - Rodgers has negative sense of fun compared to Brett. Modern day, only Peyton comes even close, and not very on a game by game basis. There's never been anyone like Favre and never will be. Nobody ever more fun, dedicated, f%#k, a thousand superlatives. No word will do. I was so touched by the standing ovations. Lived in Chicago when he started, and not gonna get into all that. But will say this. Pack fans are the best and truest of any pro sport, at least in this country. They are not rude at all, even in bad times. There are no die-harder than them. Small pop, lawsuits about season tickets left in wills. Someone should do a show on them. There are no more loyal fans pound per pound, I feel sure of that. They are probably bigger pound for pound more than your average fan. lol Dang, they love their brats, beers, and cheese curds.
