cityofchamps Yea.. Sadly its becoming more and more like that lately. The quality of the CFL has been getting better and better as its gotten more popular and now we have a lot of good players and the NFL has realized this and started scouting our league more and more.. And Shawn Lemon is an ex roughrider too. Wasn't great, really surprised to see him get a shot at the NFL. Shawn Lemon had 13 sacks and an INT last year for Calgary. That is why. He has a devastating spin move.

I think he is an alright and if you pair him with someone great he gets good production, but IMO not NFL calibre. Could be wrong, but usually the guys who actually make NFL teams are all star guys up here not just guys who are solid. I hope he makes it, I love seeing CFL players make the NFL, but I will be very surprised if he does..

I'm really surprised this doesn't happen more often. There's a whole pool of untapped pro football players that the Nfl just leaves alone. I need to start watching.
