Although he was a BEAST for the Badgers (20+ tackles every game)-- he fell to the 3rd round in the draft because teams thought he was too undersized and just a run-stuffer (Hello! They said the same thing about too-short Russell Wilson and how did that turn out?

)

I think the rush to put Willis on IR for the season had a lot to do with Borland's excellent play during his absence. And he didn't disappoint as the "official" fulltime starter this weekend-- 9 solo tackles, 4 assists, 3 passes defended, and 2 INTs.

Patrick Willis ran a faster 40 time than Eric Reid, so he should easily be able to play safety
