Except for that ONE run play in week 1, Cordarrelle Patterson has TANKED in every game since. CP is complaining in the media that he doesn't get the ball enough, but like Coach Zimmer says-- GET YOUR ASS OPEN and we'll throw you the ball. NFL caliber offenses are complicated-- so you've gotta spend MUCHO MAS hours studying the playbook. Although I was really high on him in the preseason, I don't know when/if this 2nd year WR will/can get with the program.  Time is running out for you, young man.  |

Well..In his defense...Hes had 3 different 2nd string Qb's throwing his way this year. Hard to get any rhythm that way.

I don't care who is throwing you the ball. LEARN THE ENTIRE PLAYBO0K and you'll be a stud on any NFL team-- ala Steve Smith Sr and Anquan Boldin (the veterans) -- but also, HELLO, Brian Quick and Kelvin Benjamin (the young'ens). CP is a better overall athlete than either of these two aforementioned journey-man players-- and has the potential to outperform these named veterans. It's all about WHAT you do with the LOOKS you're given. CP has done nothing to warrant his WR2 status.  |

He has been a let down for sure. But so is his team. I kind of agree with Jeepers, the total offense is a mess. CD could come to the Chargers and work with Rivers for a week, and you would see fireworks.

He can't throw the ball to himself. He probably wasn't counting on having no running game to take the edge off either. Poor SOB, just awful. Kinda funny, Emmanuel Sanders, relative obscurity for 2 or 3 years behind Mike Wallace and Antonio Brown. Know what his 1st public words were this season? "It's like I landed in wide receiver heaven". Well poor CP must think he landed in hell, sadly he knows nothing else. He won't be the last that's been there, not done squat. |
