This season has so far been a weird one for Lions fans. Years past we have had great offenses and bad defenses. This year the offense is doing just enough to put points on the board (would be more if our kickers could do their jobs) and the defense is playing out of their minds. What's even more impressive, is that the Lions are 4-2 after a bunch of major injuries. With a bunch of cast offs and practice squad rejects in the secondary, a ragtag group of linebackers, the revolving door at RT and RB, and the #1 receiver in the league missing time, the Lions are doing just enough to stay alive and win games. The Saints are up next, coming up to the Den. This will be a great test to see how legit this defense really is.
