Not that it wasn't foreseen, but as of this morning, the Pegulas are officially now the new owners of the Buffalo Bills. I can only pray that they mow through the front office of the Bills with a battle axe and hand out pink slips in mass.
One thing I didn't know was that what the Pegulas paid for the Bills - $1.4 billion, is the highest anybody has ever paid for an NFL team. And here everybody has always shit on the Bills for being a crappy small market team.
Bon Jovi, who everybody on these boards for the past couple months knows I've hated with an unbridled passion, even had the common decency to congratulate the Pegulas on their bid being accepted as the winning bid. Donald Trump, on the other hand, was an asshole about it, and tweeted this:
Little did Trump know that Ralph Wilson instructed that when the team was sold, a large portion of the sale go to local charities in Buffalo and Detroit, where he was born and raised, and lived his entire life.
