Demeco Ryans out for the season...torn Achilles. Fuck. Way bigger loss than Foles who reportedly has a broken collar bone. How is that a bigger loss than Foles? Foles is the cornerstone of Kelly's offense. If Foles is out for the season and Sanchez has to play for the rest of the year, it's only a matter of time before he reverts back to his old butt fumble self, I don't care how good he looked today. Better hope Foles' injury isn't season ending. |

This isn't necessarily a game day post but rather just a thinking out loud post. I'm always amazed at the balance of success of teams over a long enough timeline.
The Raiders are the worst team in football this year, but even before this, they've been bad for quite some time. Amazing to think they fielded such great teams under John Madden in the late 70's and early 80's when they won a few Superbowls.

all that means is I was one week ahead in my season predictions. The things that are supposed to happen to the Cardinals as far as slipping down/losing will happen.
