Since the days of Michael Strahan and Osi Umenyiora, I've been largely unimpressed with Perry Fewell's defense for the Giants. Prince Amukamora is downright terrible. Reminds me of Stephon Gilmore of the Bills - both selected in the first round, both have been disappointments. 1- Fewell was not the DC for the Giants when Strahan was there, we had Spagnuola. 2 - But yes, Fewell has been downright terrible with his playcalling the past 2 seasons. I want him gone. He rarely sends pressure, and when he does, he calls them at the worst times. He is not taking advantage of our talent on defense, and it is starting to show. 3 - Prince Amukamara is actually VERY good, but Fewell literally puts him on an ISLAND with top WRs in the game. Prince is NOT a shutdown CB (even though I think he is among the top 25 CBs in the league), and telling him to go and cover Dez for most of the game, with no help, is a bad idea. For most of the game, he actually held up great against Dez, but in the 2nd half, the Giants got 0 pressure and Dez made some grabs that only the best in the game can make (I recall 2 slants on the top of my head that Dez caught in traffic with almost perfect coverage from Prince). I know that Fewell's wasn't the DC for the Giants when Strahan was there. He was with the Bills, and served as the Bills interim head coach when Dick Jauron got fired mid season in 2009. I don't know what you see in Amukamora, because every time I've watched him play, he looks completely average or is being beat by receivers. As far as not being able to be put on an island against Dez - maybe that was a poor idea from Fewell, but if first round corners can't cover a team's best receiver, then I don't consider them to be that great, hence my Stephon Gilmore comparison. The Bills put him on an island all the time, and 9 out of 10 times, he gets torched.

Watching the Pittsburgh/Houston game. Does anyone else bedsides me hear the obnoxious fan right beneath the broadcasters booth who won't stop yelling? It's literally ruining the broadcast for me. All I here is Turiko and Gruden with some dude in the background screaming "YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaAaaaQAAaaaaaaaaaaaAaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAQaaAaaAaaaaaaaaaaaqqaaHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHJUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUJHHHHJHJHHUUUUUUHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Sounds like a goddamn Vuvuzela.

I should clarify plax that I'm not just trying to kick the Giants when they're down after a loss. The Giants are one of the teams I root for besides the Bills, as I grew up a Giants fan, and my very first football jersey was a Lawrence Taylor jersey I got when I was a child on my birthday, because he and I share birthdays. I'm also an Eli Manning fan, believe it or not, and I had his away jersey at one point. I'm ALSO a fan of Perry Fewell simply because he was the Bills DC, and had to serve as the Bills interim head coach when Dick Jauron got shit canned halfway through the 2009 season. Having said all that, I always root for the Giants in the NFC East race, and I, along with you, obviously, have been disappointed in recent years. As I stated earlier in this thread, their defense just hasn't looked the same since the last time they won a Superbowl in 2011, and obviously, I know they've lost a lot of players since winning it in 2007 and 2011. It was disappointing to see them lose Osi, who, for whatever reason, didn't want to stay with a team with whom he had won two Superbowls. It was also a shame that the Giants and Tuck couldn't work out a deal. Hopefully J.P.P. can eventually return to his rookie form.

Every one in America saw that was fumble! It was called a fumble on the field. The replay refs overturned. I call bull shit. I'm tired of the cheating. Happens all the time. Vegas needs Broncos to win. If we don't win this game I quit. That is a fourteen point turn around.
If the Chargers lose replace me in all leagues. I will not watch ever again. I will watch my local high school.

His arm touched before the fumble...he was down.
Really glad I benched Oliver this week.

It was a fumble. SD did get to play defense though. They could have forced a punt right away (like they did earlier in the game) and had a chance there before halftime. I would be upset at the fumble but more upset that the defense appeared to fall apart when they really needed to make a stop.
But it was absolutely a fumble.
