I'm going to write a letter with the Bills official letterhead on it addressed to Florida State University and see if they'll take EJ Manual back in exchange for Jameis Winston, off field problems and all. First Rob Johnson, then J.P. Losman, now EJ Manuel. The Bills sure know how to pick em. Manuel is just retardedly inaccurate. Misses wide open receivers. Indecisive. Late with balls. Too early with balls. Reluctant to throw the ball for fear of making a mistake...even if he has a wide open receiver. Doesn't see the field. Limits the playcalling from the coaching staff because he's too afraid to go long, and if he DOES throw long, he throws the ball out of bounds or ten yards over the receiver's head. He leads his receivers into injury producing hits - he's been doing it since he entered the league. The Bills drafted him for his athleticism and his "upside." I think we've seen enough of his "upside." He just doesn't understand NFL football. He's a failure, and Marrone will be too if he sticks with him. I seriously don't understand how some teams like the Raiders, Browns, and Bills can keep going through quarterback after quarterback, one after the other, decade after decade without finding a good one. How can some teams be so incredibly incompitent? Jeez man...you make it sound like the kid threw multiple picks and got injured. He did fine for a 2nd year QB...who had his team @2-0...which was an accomplishment in itself. Your hate for EJ is almost as ridiculous as my hate for the Ducks. Give him a chance You didn't see the game. His stats are misleading. Ask craig. On EVERY possession, he was overthrowing and underthrowing his receivers, and I'm not talking like mere misses, I'm talking like a backup high school QB taking his first ever reps against the Seattle Seahawks defense. J.P. Losman looked good by comparison today. I've never seen a quarterback lack so much confidence. Everything he threw was just off. The coaches had to severely dumb down the playbook to accommodate for how bad he was playing. I've screamed at my TV when J.P. Losman and Ryan Fitzpatrick were playing QB for the Bills, but I've never seen anyone play as poorly as Manuel did today. Rivers had a good day for the Chargers, but the Bills easily could have made a game of it if Manuel had even remotely played well. Missed throw after missed throw. I thought I was watching Christian Ponder.

In all fairness though I think we pressured him pretty good. And watching Charger talk now they are saying "I think the coach is telling him to not run much" So he is kind of being taken out of his element. I haven't seen him play until today. So my opinion of him is pretty low.

He looked timid and kind of scared. I won't be picking him up on my fantasy team any time soon. nateball89 You are a great sport, and I love the avatar. But its not you. I say the week ends when the next NFL game starts, like Thursday. Until then I will totally enjoy seeing that picture.

So my opinion of him is pretty low. Took me a day to calm down. I can handle losing. As a Bills fan, I'm used to it. Plus, you never realistically expect your favorite team to win EVERY single game, so you can't always expect sunshine and roses. The way in which the Bills lost though, that was a sucker punch to us Bills fans. They came out and played like absolute garbage in preseason - failing miserably on offense and looking like a team that was destined for a 4-12 record and a seventh consecutive year finishing last in the AFC East. THEN, they start the season on the road and beat the Bears in a thriller in overtime. THEN, Bills fans are riding the emotional wave of the team being sold to the guy who's going to keep them in Buffalo. THEN, we spank the Dolphins in our home opener. And THEN...the Bills collapse on defense due to Jim Schwartz's aggressively mediocre 4-3 vanilla play calling against a top tier QB who's proven you can't just sit back and give him all day in the pocket to make up his mind. And on top of that, our offensive line completely fell apart and EJ Manuel missed virtually every pass he threw. We Bills fans are hard on every QB the Bills field. You can't blame us. Since Jim Kelly, we've been forced to sit through Todd Collins, Kelly's immediate replacement. Collins turned out to be a first round bust. Then Doug Flutie, who'd traveled all over the NFL and CFL, and seemed to revive his career with the Bills, and was playing really well, and was promptly benched for Rob Johnson, a first round selection who the Bills traded for from the Jaguars. Johnson flamed out hard in Buffalo. We got a washed up Bledsoe, journeyman Kelly Holcomb, another first round bust in J.P. Losman, Captain Checkdown Trent Edwards, Gunslinger Ryan Fitzpatrick, who likes throwing to defensive backs more than receivers, and now another first round bust in EJ Manuel. It's hard to stay positive about our QB situation when you watch Manuel struggle mightily with his accuracy. Some QBs have it, and others don't. For the life of me, I don't understand how some QBs can make it to the NFL, spend their entire life preparing to be an NFL QB, and once they get there, play like a lost little boy with no understanding of the game. Manuel has many downfalls that will have him playing as a backup for a team other than the Bills within two years time, but his biggest downfall is his accuracy. Hell, even Jim Kelly called him out on TV when he was in the booth and said he'd like to seem him step in to throws as opposed to putting so much arc on his balls. EJ's accuracy is just god awful. If he can't hit receivers in stride, or even receivers that are wide open, then he's probably going to end up a TV personality selling cars to former Florida State alum.

Tebow went 4-0 in OT games, Peyton is 0-3 in OT games since joining the Broncos. Just saying Little do you realize that what you're 'just saying' doesn't make Peyton look worse. My 1st thought is 'how would one account for that?'. Several answers out there. 3 or 4 games is not a huge sample size ya know. And before last year, it was usually decided by a coin toss. The last game left them STILL talking about the coin toss, even though they now need a TD and not just a FG on first possession. Just curious why you'd mention 0-3 since joining the Broncos. What about before that? ? Oh, they beat the Cowboys 51-48 last year, breaking the tie with a couple seconds left. Doesn't count. lol

Gunslinger Ryan Fitzpatrick, who likes throwing to defensive backs more than receivers, and now another first round bust in EJ Manuel. I don't get it either, why some fail so miserably. Don't follow college football, but do understand that some conferences are better than others, and I trust the coaches and scouts to be knowledgeable. They obviously did their homework on guys like Christian Ponder, Blaine Gabbert, EJ Manuel, et al. However, here's my perennial case in point, and doubt it applies in most cases. It's really about the things the best scouts may overlook. But as long as Ace is bringing up Tebow, it's perfect... Tebow was a Heisman Trophy winner. Sounds unbelievable when you heard his own teammates anonymously say 'he's terrible'. Well, Percy Harvin earned him that. Look into his history, and see how many colleges he was recruited by, and his buttload of awards and accolades. EJ Manuel could've won it with him. Oh, if Manuel can't hit receivers in stride, he might be selling cars at a dealership, but won't be any TV personality.

lol so all of a sudden winning is less important that stats? So your telling me 4-0 is now worse than 0-3?
The logic of Peyton Manning fans...
