Months after suffering a gruesome hit in week 2 against Philadelphia last season, Chargers WR Malcom Floyd's future in the NFL was in serious doubt. Today, Floyd has been given clearance to resume his NFL career. For the last few weeks he has been doing light workouts and participated in workouts with the team. Now that he has been cleared to play again, and if he stays healthy throughout the offseason and training camp, he is projected to start at WR opposite Keenan Allen. www.utsandiego.com/news/2014/may/19/malcom-floyd-chargers-wide-receiver-neck-injury/

I'm happy for him.... I think. That is a scary thing to have happen and I will pray he does not reinjure himself. I'm kind of worried he may be a little worried about it. I hope he does well and all goes well.

Ouch that last angle shows his neck compressing. He has a long neck also.

Hopefully he comes back and can stay healthy. As much as I want the Chargers to do poorly, I don't like seeing players get hurt like that and I love seeing guys overcoming injuries in order to continue playing the sport they love.
