haha yes gobolts. Girls danced together all the time because boys were to shy or to cool to dance. I'm surprised there is no beatles or stones music. And the car doing the wheelie had a "Wheelie bar" did you notice that? I remember those. The quick flash of the 45 records brought back memories also. I had a record player that I stacked five or six 45 records on and it would drop one at a time and play it. That was my play list. haha. I'm sure the Four Seasons were on one. And I don't care what anyone says! Racial tension was nothing like it is now. Maybe it was because I was young and didn't see it, but butwheat and the little rascals were my friends. Yeah, there were some '60's and '70's images in there...Easy Rider, the wheelie-popping hot rod (what is that, a T-Bird? I know that boxy rear window.), etc. I remember that little L-arm that would hold the stack of 45's on the spindle, but by the time I was into records I had a Fisher (33) turntable with the grippy rubber so you could play 45's without needing an insert. I had a few 45's but mostly I preferred full albums. The first albums I actually bought myself were Styx - Paradise Theater and Blue Oyster Cult - Agents of Fortune. When I was a kid, where I lived, there was no real racial tension...just the neighborhood kids of various ethnicities running together in a pack...however, when I went to high school in the late '70's it was a palpable thing. I actually went to two high schools because my family moved in the summer after my sophomore year, and the difference was night and day (pun unintended). The first one was in Pasadena, and the population was roughly half black and half white. There'd be occasional fights and one all-out brawl I can remember. Not exactly skinheads vs. Black Panthers, but you knew about it. It was the first school I went to that had actual security guards. From there we moved to a wealthier suburb, and the school I went to was like 90% white, with some Asians and Hispanics and literally one (1) black guy. Not very surprisingly, there wasn't any racial tension, or security guards.

Interesting. I graduated high school in 72. So you are not that much younger than me. My first album, was "Meet the Beatles" I didn't buy it my mom did cuz I was about nine. First album I bought on my own? hummm Probably Crosby Stills and Nash or something. Maybe Pink Floyd. I was just talking to my mom, who is eighty. (yes she was young when I was born) She said "the discrimination back when I was young was there, blacks were discriminated against, but the racial tension was nothing like now" I find that interesting. Anyway. I can't get enough of my new find on these videos. If you watch this one, a few minutes in you see the kids get down and cover their heads. It looks like a Muslim prayer. I did this! I did other drills like under the desk. What those kids are doing is practicing for an invasion. When I was real young we had air raid drills. That is what they are doing. Brought back lots of memories. biggeekdad.com/2013/01/the-best-of-times-part-three/Weird that part two is banned in our country. Hummmmm. If I'm boring you , TO BAD, I'm having fun and this is the world according to Craig. haha.

Oh yes I remember well, okay maybe not that well. I grew up in a small town in Pa. called Monaca an there was not too much racial tension there, but there was some in other towns around us that did. Most of the tension I can remember was during the local high school football season, some teams just didn't like each other. Spent some of my early years living in the projects until my parents bought their first house,it wasn't a bad place to live and we were within walking distance to the schools (never had to ride a bus to get to school). Yeah some of those shows bring back memories, who can forget the little rascals & that dog Petey. Can remember waiting to watch Disney on Sunday night at home or when we were at my Grandparents, that was about the only time we were glued to the TV. I remember when gas was so cheap it only took a couple bucks to fill the tank. Yes those were the days my friend things were much different then they are today. I kinda feel sorry for some of these kids today, they play more video games then playing outside.

I'm a decade behind...I graduated in 82. I was also young for my grade; I didn't hit my 18th birthday till after I'd been at Navy for four months. I'm sort of like the guy who made that website...close enough to know about it but not quite there. A lot of the TV shows were probably reruns, but I remember Ozzie and Harriet and the Mickey Mouse Club and Marlon Perkins' Wild Kingdom...and Hazel, the Wonderful World of Disney, and My Three Sons, and...
Speaking of which, I caught Tim Considine hanging out on that hayride.
"Today is Tuesday, you know what that means..."

The reason the OP is a ghost face is the same reason you have ten posts. Welcome back.

I think ya all know I like horses. Especially great horses. I know some horses die racing, and it breaks my heart more than most. But I look at it like, those horses would not even be alive if not for racing. How many horses die in movies? We don't know. How many die working? We don't know.
This horse's record will never be broken for the fastest in Triple crown history. No horse has ran a mile and a half even close to this ones time.
Here he is nine years later, do you think he likes to run? Boy did he put on muscle or what?
