Haha I know Jeffrey. Both the new ones are so cool. Juni makes the funniest faces. Especially when she gets a bath. She gives her mom the dirtiest look. I don't have my hands full, I'm the grandpa. But my kids are starting to look at me a little different. They actually are realizing its not easy being a parent. They thought it was all fun and games.

You maybe the but if ya ever have to watch'em or they come over to see ya trust me you'll have your hands full. Yeah being a parent is 24/7 but the thing about being the grandparent is you get to leave or send them home to their parents when your done with'em.

It used to crack me up watchin' the boys faces when they tried new foods, you set food down in front of Abby and all she does is eat. When Kadin was small ya always knew when he was about to mess his diaper cause he'd hide under the dinner table, and Nate would go hide in the kitchen, so far Abby hasn't done anything like the boys did. I do love watching Abby's reaction when she sees me though, them little eyes get real wide and her arms and legs are moving all over the place. I love it the Grandparents get to have all the fun & games an the parents get to do all the work.

This is almost twelve minutes long. But for me it is really really cool. You younger ones here, if you watch and listen this is how I grew up as a child. The cars and music were spectacular. Life was so simple. I'm glad I grew up in the fifties and sixties. steelers54 you will love it. Make sure you have twelve minutes to relax. And for the youngsters at least look at six minutes and twenty seconds in. That car, well they don't make em like that anymore. Turn UP the speakers!!! Not only some great archival footage but a fantastic sound track!!!! Subject: Memories - must watch Talk about going down memory lane... For your enjoyment. This is such a great video! I sure hope you enjoy it. I'm sending it on to those of you who experienced the iconic 1950’s ..... a decade that will never be repeated. I'm also sending it to some of you who never experienced the 1950’s, just so you can get a slight idea why those of us in our mid to late 60’s and older, see the 1950’s and 1960’s the greatest and most enjoyable years of our lives. The cars were fantastic. The music was so wonderful, romantic, nostalgic and magical. Most songs had a story to tell and you could understand the words. Many of us could even relate to the stories in some of the songs. There are songs that some of us can remember where we were and what we were doing the very first time we heard that song. We were rich and did not know it! We were innocent and thought we were experienced. We were very fortunate to have lived in such an era. Enjoy the past as it is revealed here.

A few notes for you younguns... 1) The girls dancing together are NOT lesbian. 2) That 'Vette convertible is beautiful. The Ford Fairlane, not so much. 3) Elvis was huge. He was the Beatles before the Beatles. 4) Those clean-cut singers near the end are the original Jersey Boys, the Four Seasons. "Otay, Butwheat."

haha yes gobolts. Girls danced together all the time because boys were to shy or to cool to dance. I'm surprised there is no beatles or stones music. And the car doing the wheelie had a "Wheelie bar" did you notice that? I remember those. The quick flash of the 45 records brought back memories also. I had a record player that I stacked five or six 45 records on and it would drop one at a time and play it. That was my play list. haha. I'm sure the Four Seasons were on one. And I don't care what anyone says! Racial tension was nothing like it is now. Maybe it was because I was young and didn't see it, but buckwheat and the little rascals were my friends. We could laugh without being called racist.
And this is hilarious.
