So back to Steelers thread. Did MJD come in? Or is he still holding out and asking to be traded?

Ever since MJD has been holding out i've been avoiding him, Khan has been against him all hold-out and has made it clear he wont get his way. The one thing you cannot do on a struggling team is having a me first mentality. We all thought Mojo was like that, but clearly he blew that out of the water. I dont think they go Barkley next draft though, I think they go Lattimore.

I won't touch him in fantasy this year either.. I just don't trust players who have sat out training camp and preseason. I don't disagree that MJD should be paid like a top running back.. But I wish he would just play. I think both sides need to stop being stupid and come to some sort of middle ground..

Oh, yeah, he led the league...

Oh, yeah, he led the league... One of the saving graces for last year though was everyone suffered from the same set back. This year he's going against guys that have had the training and practices and he's going in limp. If he comes back by week one i dont expect him to play before week 3, the way the coach is talking it could be longer if he feels Pocket Hercules isnt up to snuff. Add to that the fact that Jennings is more the capable of being a RB1 and it favors the Jags to take it slow to start. Also, with the moves they've made this offseason, they look to expand their passing game which will take away the run attempts, they want Gabbert to succeed bad. If he keeps going the way he is this preseason he will. That means MJD gets less carries this year and next, but on the reverse he's going to be able to have a longer career because of it and wont be as beat up.

First, the Jags aren't facing a particularly difficult schedule as far as opposing defenses are concerned. Also, one of his advantages has always been that d-backs can't see him very well behind the line due to his size. His build and running style are other factors going against injury questions. (He's missed three games in a six-year career.) There's very little reason for taking it slow, even if Jennings does well.
Also, MoJo has always been a dual threat, which means he'll be Gabbert's safety valve when the WR's are covered.
