Giants players to watch
RB: David Wilson. David Wilson has been getting reps with the starting offense as of late, and I think it is safe to assume we will be seeing a lot of Wilson against CHI. Bradshaw will most likely be resting this game, giving Wilson the opportunity he needs to prove himself. This is a big game for Wilson, and will most likely determine his role throughout the season.
WR: Jerrel Jernigan, Rueben Randle, Domenik Hixon, Ramses Barden. Going into week 3, and no one has separated from the rest of the pack thus far. Jernigan and Randle are good regardless, and Hixon will most likely be a nice veteran WR for the team. However, Ramses Barden is in danger. The Giants drafted him as a project, and so far he has done nothing to prove the Giants have something good. This is the make or break season for Barden, and it must start now, or it might be too late.
DL:Markus Kuhn. Canty out, Austin out, Rogers out. Markus Kuhn, like Barden, is a project for the Giants. However, he has been a nice option thus far for the GMen. He has a chance here to make a name for himself and MAYBE cling on to the final 53.
LB: Mark Herzlich, Keith Rivers. Herzlich will always be a player to watch until he becomes the starter. He is still closing the gap on Blackburn, and if he keeps his great play going, he can be a starter sooner rather than later. Rivers is still trying to make a name for himself on the roster, and there is a small chance he can take the ILB job too, though unlikely. He has to prove he is the real deal and that he was worth the trade.
CB: Jayron Hosley. Last week against the Jets was amazing for Jayron Hosley. Not only did he fare well overall, but he took one back to the house, on Mark Sanchez. His role was most likely going to be limited to special teams, then gradually move onto defense with the starters. However, he might be able to pull this off now if he has another great game. He can challenge for the nickel spot.
S: Will Hill. This story is getting better and better. I have heard nothing but great things about Hill so far. Everyone is raving about him, including Tom Coughlin, a great sign. He is probably a lock to make the final 53, and can challenge for the Deon Grant role if he shows the ability that made him a 5-star HS prospect.

Game Expectation:
This will be the game where the starters will be on the field for mostly all of the game, IMO. And the Giants were at their worst so far this preseason when the backups were in, specifically on defense. With our explosive offense, I see us scoring regardless - especially due to CHIs rather weak secondary. And our DLine will punish CHI, and might force the Bears to sit Jay Cutler a little early for precautionary measures.
