Stanford RB Barry Sanders Jr. REALLY impressed people at a scrimmage this week. He's supposedly looked great so far. I'm anxious to see how he does

He won't play this year, in all likelyhood. I think he gets redshirted. Or atleast, that is what I would do with him. Stanford's starting RB Stepfan Taylor is pretty good. NFL good iyam. I think he'll be the 3rd string RB this year (if he doesn't get RS), and then after this year he'll start.

Is there any reason to think he could be a Pro, or is the hype mainly because he's Barry Sanders Jr?

Is there any reason to think he could be a Pro, or is the hype mainly because he's Barry Sanders Jr? He was a consensus top 10 RB coming out of high school. (NOT the best though. If you want to see that, look up Johnathan Gray.) Stanford also has some GREAT OLinemen coming in. I think it's too early to think about NFL for him, he's only a freshman in college right now, but if I had to chose an answer, I'd say he does get drafted. Here is his high school film: Pretty good if you ask me.

Pretty good, indeed. I haven't been following the situation at all, so I'm ignorant as to what's up, but I've gotta think he's got some game. Barry Sr. "wasn't bad." lol

I like the optimism.. Seeing another "Barry Sanders" would be sweet.. Not for him, though, in terms of on the field play, but the Sponsors would love him.
