Yes it was a fake. That's not funny. I gotta quit being so gullible. Nothing worse than an old, ignorant, gullible, guy who can't spell. But in all fairness it was on the internet so I believed it.

Me! We have great skiing. California is a BIG state. We have Olympians playing for other countries. Their parents countries.

I started writing a post yesterday and deleted it. I was irritated by the large % of guys that were getting screwed on the halfpipe due to wet conditions. These were the best, including 2 U.S. (Shaun White and maybe Danny Davis (??) who were getting hammered NOT on the landing, but a few yds later, catching their tips/edges on slush.
I have to blame it on the Olympic Committee, possibly being pressured (?) unless this is a true anomoly. Hearing the temps were 60F there today, and there were a number of spoilers that didn't go well... They had the worst and least secure infrastructures of anywhere I can think of in recent times, and the 6 or 7 years of preparation didn't help to the extent it should have. This place will never be a 'destination', and probably what Russia put into it is a calculated loss.

I don't pretend to be an expert in snowboarding but it doesn't help Shaun White when he does this

Man, the US didn't even medal in the halfpipe (my favorite Olympic event).

awesomeace Your Sean White photo above is awesome, Ace. Good job. Looks like an equipment failure to me. Sean hit it so hard he over bent the board. People don't always like Sean, but the man can halfpipe. Or maybe he was using the flex to spring back and do a quadrippleqorotuce. Anyway nice photo.

Yeah, I didn't know you could do that to a board without breaking it. I knew they bent the other way. Maybe it's just that you never see that in skiboarding...nature? haha
