^ I know I shouldn't laugh but that's hilarious!! Been watching the men's figure skating short program for the past couple hours. They say it's live, I seriously doubt it ( ). Patrick Chan from Canada with something like a 98 (??) score got beat out for the gold by this Japanese kid that scored over 101 - might have been the highest score in history, IDK.

Our Men's hockey team just played their first game. It started at 12:00 PM Eastern time, which is 9:00PM Sochi time. And damn that Japanese kid.. Though it isn't for medals yet, is it? I think that is just a qualifying round.

This started at like 11:30 - 3 PM, so thinking it started at close to midnight and went to 2 AM local time??? Yeah, in the middle, I gathered that this was just qualifiers. Believe it or not, this was the 1st time I noticed that this was available to watch on NBC sports network, diff from channel 10 that I been looking at. The main channel (10) has had nothing but the minimum, but NBC SN has had every minute. I was like, okay, they have 30 guys, some doing 2 tries over a stretch of 3+ hours?!? I been totally missing out. My NBC SN is on channel 220, and I missed it. lol Yeah, that Japanese kid was insane. I thought youknowwho couldn't be caught. Still can't believe I missed this channel, stay tuned, stoopy me. So no big spoilers. hehe Last hockey game I saw was the blowout this morning, U.S. over Slovenia, don't think I'm spoiling anything there. They're showing SLO vs. RUS on NBC SN now, so I guess you know who won unless there's reseeding or something. Yeah, RUS 2-0 1st period. Man, downhill skiing isn't the only one going crazy in Sochi.. Check out the biathlon this year: LOL!

Divebitch Easiest way to remember the time difference: They are exactly 12 hours different than Pacific time. So Whatever time is in on the west coast, just flip AM to PM or vice versa.

I was on the phone the other day with some cust tech guy from, like Pakistan (couldn't believe it. He was orig from Canada though lol), and he said he was 10 hours (which I was shocked was that much - did he mean California? Europeans also mean EST I think). Maybe before the Daylight Savings time (is that what we're on now???). If true, Russia gotta be 9 at least, even Western you'd think.

I was thinking 10 or 11 hours diff, which would make live coverage til almost 3 PM EST utterly ridiculous. So 9 hours must be correct, almost midnight. Thanks.
