Cavaliers win again; this time against Washington in a 97-92 victory
Ibaka - 22 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 blocks Irving - 21 points, 8 assists, 6 rebounds Stephenson - 16 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists
Beal - 18 points Gortat - 17 points, 6 rebounds Nene - 12 points, 7 rebounds
Cleveland wins their second game against Washington in a span of three or so weeks, both times holding them to double digits in scoring (91.5ppg allowed in last two meetings). The big problem the Cavs had last meeting against Washington was John Wall, who recorded 25 points and 14 assists. This game? 8 points and 8 assists. Wall was 0-9 in the first half shooting due to the great defense of Lance Stephenson and Dion Waiters, who had the duty of guarding the premier point guard. That is also due in part to Serge Ibaka and Roy Hibbert, who gave Wall fits in the paint, where he attacked often in the prior meeting. Cleveland played a good defensive game, and it seems that Serge Ibaka is the second star that Cleveland has always clamored for as he is averaging 21.5ppg, 7.5rpg, 3apg, and 3bpg since joining Cleveland. Cleveland has another meeting against Toronto in their next matchup, and then a marquee matchup where Cleveland will go against Oklahoma City in what will be an interesting game to say the least.

Ibaka and Irving go 11-29 combined; Others pick up slack in win over Toronto
Deng - 21 points, 5 rebounds Irving - 18 points, 17 assists, 7 rebounds (14 points in 4th quarter) Stephenson - 15 points
Ross - 23 points Hansbrough - 19 points, 10 rebounds Lowry - 19 points, 11 assists
Kyrie Irvin and Serge Ibaka, the two best players on Cleveland, struggled scoring the ball for most of the game. The two have combined for over 40 points a game since playing together, and had only 6 points combined heading into the 4th quarter of a close game against Toronto. In the 4th quarter, they showed why they are one of the best PG/big man combos in the league, scoring 20 points combined in the 4th quarter to give Cleveland a 112-108 win at the Quicken Loans Arena. Seven Cavaliers players went in double figures tonight, with Ibaka only scoring 8 total points. It was a team win for the Cavs, and they will need the entire team to show up when they play the Oklahoma City Thunder in their next contest.

Cavaliers not impressed with depth; sign and release players
In preparation for the big time clash against the Thunder for their next game, the Cavaliers made changes to their roster. Today the Cavaliers have announced the release of guard Vander Blue and center Henry Sims. The Cavaliers then went to the free agency pool and picked up three players; guard Armon Johnson, forward Tyrus Thomas, and center Marcus Camby.
The Cavaliers had to play Deng and Granger at the 4 and 5 in recent games due to the fact that Ibaka and Hibbert cannot consistently play big minutes night in and night out.
It is expected that the Cavalier rotation will now look as follows:
PG - Kyrie Irving | Armon Johnson SG - Lance Stephenson | Dion Waiters SF - Luol Deng | Danny Granger | Sergey Karasev PF - Serge Ibaka | Tyrus Thomas C - Roy Hibbert | Marcus Camby

I am sure some of you are wondering who Armon Johnson is. I used him in 2k13 when I did a Portland association, and loved playing with him. If he is anything like he was in 2k13, Johnson will be a big part of the bench squad. My bench in the past week of games have been Waiters|Felix|Karasev|Granger|Ibaka (Ibaka would need to stay in, and then Deng usually came in to play the 4 and Granger the 5, and then Hill coming in at 4 and Deng at 5. It was bad).

And this OKC game is a big one, so I plan to go more in-depth on the postgame report. Ibaka, Thompson, Varejao, Miles - all starting right now for their respective teams. Should be interesting.
