I thought I remember hearing that they would bring back the gold helmets, B/G jerseys, and white pants for a game as well? And alternate the two throwbacks through out the season. I know they usually have more than one throwback game a season. There's nothing worse than the bumblebee prison outfits, and everyone knows it. They should abandon them and pretend it never happened. Says the one with a bee profile pic They're not so terrible once you get use to them. I actually hate the pants more than the jersey it's self. But yeah I love their other alternate jersey, almost as much as the normal jerseys.

Man I hate those bumble bee unis. There's gotta be something better than those as a throw back uni. I'm sure those will be next. Not too bad either. Let's just hope it's not these.

One of the best coaches in NFL history who built and lead some of the best teams the league has ever seen. RIP Chuck.

Apparently at some point the Steelers offered Worilds a contract and he turned it down (I would say before Pouncey's extension).
I don't know what they offered, but I would say his ball park would be around what Paul Kruger got with the Browns. It's painfully obvious that Kruger was never worth that kind of money, I would hope the Steelers would not make the same mistake.
If Worilds doesn't accept a reasonable deal at some point before the season (very unlikely) I would say it would be wise to resign James Harrison or any other suitable FA to split carries with Worilds and Jones if necessary, and have somebody to fill the roster next season. Because at this rate Worilds will either play most of next season like he did towards the end of last season and get a highly priced contract somewhere else (Roethlisberger needs extended, Heyward, Allen, Gilbert, Suisham, all need contracts), or Worilds has an average season proving once and for all that he likely will not be the guy to be a long term factor as a pass rusher, new contract or not they would have to find someone else to start long term.

The Steelers have started contract negotiations with OT Marcus Gilbert. Let's hope if he does get a new contract, it's only for a cheap contract for a starter. I would hate for them to over pay him in any form, seeing as the only positive to keeping him on the team for the future would be that they at lest have a OT with starting experience for the future and was at lest serviceable.

I wouldn't resign Gilbert unless it was for like a Steve McLendon/Ramon Foster like deal in the realm of 3-Years/$7 Million. He is serviceable, but he hasn't shown that he is any more than a stop-gap at RT and not a future anchor. Maybe Wesley Johnson will be able to come up in a few years and man that spot. The point being is that to build a Super Bowl team, you do not have to invest big money in OL. in 2008, the Steelers won with arguably the worst OL in Super Bowl history. Not only that, but most Super Bowl OLs are made up of more late-round and Undrafted players than high Draft Picks.

Agreed, the Steelers have proved they value interior linemen far more than over priced OTs. While having someone who has starting experience would be nice, they can't afford to over pay. The most he could hope for would likely be in the ball park of what Oher or Giacomini got, but even that would be pushing it. Also Worilds apparently caught wind of the "rumor(?)" of him turning down an offer by the Steelers and left a not too happy tweet about it that has since been deleted. Sooo.. Who knows at this point.
