Top 5 NYG Performers
5. Will Hill 3 TAKS ; 1 SACK === Showed nice recognition. Always around the ball. Good all-around game.
4. Victor Cruz 5 REC ; 51 YDS === Could not be stopped all night. Great routes. Open mostly every play.
3. JPP 2 SACKS === Constant pressure. Shook Sanchez and his mental state. Opened up holes and opportunities for other Giants players.
2. Adewale Ojomo 4 TAKS ; 2 SACKS === Created havoc on Tebow. High motor, always disrupting the pocket.
1. Jayron Hosley 1 INT ; 1 TD === Changed the coarse of the game. Made Sanchez second-guess himself ever since the INT. Rising up the depth chart I assume.

Needs to improve
Rushing === Too much inconsistency. Not enough running forward. Good running leads to good passing.
Penalties[ === I am seeing too many offsides being called on the NYG defense. There were some in JAC, but I gave them a break due to it being the first game. More this week is a problem, especially when they are going for sacks, but are taken back.
WRs not-named Cruz === I wanted someone to break away from the pack this week. While they all had good showings, no one blew the rest out of the water. I would say Jernigan is the leader for the no.3, but he is a slot WR - which Cruz is, so Hixon is the frontrunner as of now.

My Thoughts
~ The starting offense was very efficient. Victor Cruz was constantly open and was successful at getting past Revis and Cromartie when needed.
~ Our starting defense was just punishing. Sanchez never looked comfortable in the pocket. Greene never got into a rhythm. Granted, Holmes was inactive, but still a solid showing.
~ The Giants are known for pass rush. They had a good pass rush today. And they cruised to a victory.
~ Our RBs have to get something going. We are getting too many rushes where they get either no gain or a loss of a yard or two. We need more explosion, and most importantly, consistency.
~ Hopefully next FRI against CHI will be a game where the NYG staff sees who will be the no.3 WR and who will be the starting ILB. Both are completely up for grabs, and an impressive showing can seal the deal.
