With the 60th pick in the 2014 NFL draft, the Carolina Panthers select Louchiez Purifoy, CB, Florida ============================================== The Panthers best CB at the moment is Melvin White. That isn't desirable, to say the least. Purifoy has jaw dropping potential. He has as much athleticism as anybody in this draft. If I remember correctly, his sophomore year was his very first year playing CB, so he is still learning the position. But if he can become a second round pick after only playing CB for two years, it speaks volumes to the player he could eventually become. Ron Rivera and the Panthers staff had a top 2 pass defense with players who were pretty much no names. I think CAR could work wonders with a guy as talented as Purifoy. patriotsk1d

With the 61th pick in the 2014 NFL draft, the New England Patriots select Daquan Jones, DT, Penn State Jones is a very big physical tackle. I see him as a 3 technique DT, who is more of a run stuffer than a pass rusher at this point. He is a raw prospect who could develop into an elite NT in a 3-4 or an elite DT in a 4-3. He will need to work on some pass rush moves, but as of now he is a run stuffer who can take up two blockers and a lot of space in the middle. nflfootball11

With the 62nd pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, the San Francisco 49ers select Ed Reynolds S Stanford Reynolds is a aggressive, hard hitting saftey, to replace Donte Whitner. Reynolds will be poised to start across from Eric Reid complementing his skill well. 999Bronco

With the 63rd pick in the 2014 NFL draft, the Denver Broncos select Shayne Skov, ILB, Stanford ============================================ Strengths: Demonstrated more explosiveness in 2013, in his second season removed from a torn ACL. Explodes through holes in the offensive line to make emphatic tackles in the backfield. One of Skov's greatest attributes has always been aggression in taking on and shedding blockers in the hole. Displayed greater patience in 2013 when breaking down with ball-carriers in the open field because he has regained his explosive closing ability. This has led to less lunging by Skov and more secure textbook tackling. Weaknesses: Working to break a bad habit of lunging. Over-aggression caused Skov to take himself out of too many plays early in his career. Torn ACL in 2011, although he showed regained explosion in '13. steelersfan4life56

With the 64th pick of the NFL draft, the Seattle Seahawks select Jarvis Landry, WR, LSUThe Seahawks lost Golden Tate and Doug Baldwin to free agency so there's was a major need for a receiver. Landry will join Percy Harvin, Miles Austin, and Brandon Pettigrew to get Wilson some targets. CBS Sport- STRENGTHS: Solidly-built frame with above average toughness and body strength. Good build-up speed with smooth quickness and body control. Strong cuts and controlled momentum down the field - very good catch-and-go receiver. Good depth and lean in his routes and won't slow down in his breaks - good patience and plays off defenders to create some room to work. Above average hands-catcher with quick reflexes and ball skills to pluck fastballs away from his body. Strong hands and very good in contested situations - uses his body and arms to out-muscle defenders. Excellent hand-eye coordination. Nice job catching the ball in stride with a little wiggle after the catch - deceiving moves, balance and toughness and not an easy guy to tackle. Fearless and resilient pass-catcher over the middle and in traffic - very determined. Always looking for someone to block. Led LSU in catches and receiving scores the past two seasons. Good special teams coverage experience. WEAKNESSES: Good size and speed, but limited in both areas. Only average height and length for the position. Takes a few moments to get up to his top-end speed and can be slowed in his routes by physical defenders - will struggle at times vs. press. Not naturally explosive and takes a few moments to gear down - doesn't show the burst to consistently separate with his quickness. Will get his feet tied up at times in his patterns and has room to tighten his footwork. Strong hands, but he'll have his share of focus drops. COMPARES TO: Eric Decker, Denver Broncos - Landry is more reliable with his hands and isn't quite as tall, but he projects similar to Decker with their movements, body control and toughness after the catch. dreday36

With the 3.1 pick of the 2014 NFL Draft, the Houston Texans select Anthony Johnson, DT, LSU They don't call this kid "The Freak" for nothing. Johnson's athletecism is just through the roof. The thing that jumps out at you when you watch him is the guys burst and explosion off the line of scrimmage. Johnson led his team in TFL's, and had 3 sacks this year, but he's still quite raw. Johnson will learn to harness his great athleticism and will make an already talented Houston Defense even more athletic, already with Clowney, mind you.

With the 66th pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, the Washington Redskins select Victor Hampton, CB, South CarolinaThe Redskins were notoriously bad on defense this past year, and one way to fix that is through the secondary. Hampton is a great player who can produce immediately for the team en route to a better season. afjagsfan OTC

With the 68th pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns select Jimmie Ward, SS, Northern Illinois Depth for the SS position. I don't trust much in Delano Howell's health. He has been injured the two years he's been in the NFL. Ward is just an insurance. Juggs

With the 69th pick (hehe), the Oakland Raiders select Stanley Jean-Baptiste, CB, Nebraska ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- No pic and not much explanation here just b/c I just got back from a concert and I'm really tired. Also early wakeup tomorrow for skiing all day and partying all sunday. In short, he's 6'3'' and all of Oakland's cornerbacks are like 5'10''. He actually isn't the top player at my board left but the guy I want is going to fall to me next round. 101mitch OTC
