Hmmmm....I can ill afford to lose a game in the CTM league, and have some very tough decisions to make here this week. #1 toughest decision is at QB between Brady or Keenum.
Brady- Was struggling mightily without the likes of Gronkowski and the often injured Amendola on the field for most of this season, but is seemingly rejuvenated now with all of his weapons back. Not to mention Vereen is returning(possibly for this game). Yeah, he's facing a Carolina Defense that has been playing VERY well the past 5 weeks. In fact, it appears as though they are now the second best defense overall, behind only KC. Also, if the rankings are correct here, they're currently giving up the fewest ff points to Qb's this season. HOWEVER, upon further review, I can't help but to take a look at the putrid offensive attacks that they've faced the past 5 weeks(MIN,STL,TB,ATL & SF). Makes me wonder....just how valid are these statistics?
Keenum- Let's face it, the kid has looked pretty good in his first three starts, albeit they were all losses, which doesn't matter in a ff perspective as he's averaging over 22ff pts per contest. He's facing a much better "statistical" matchup defensively against OAK, than Brady is vs. CAR. The Raiders defense is a little harder to predict, so it seems. Before they gave up the 49 points and 7 TD's to Foles, they were supposed to be a top 10 secondary vs. the pass? They then go on a bye week, and come back to almost beat the NYG, on the road in NY, allowing Eli a mere 7.30 ff points. Then again, how much credence can be taken in that, considering the mighty struggles of Eli this season?
