Now the Chargers have no one at RB, Philip Rivers will attempt more passes than he ever attempted in a season

Mathews will be out 4-8 weeks. But Week 1 is 4 weeks, so he should be getting back around week 5 or six still even with the elongated time frame. So the beginning of October. This isnt an injury to rush, if he comes back before its time he will just rebreak it again. Still think I was being harsh on him?

If anyone actually cared to read that article thoroughly, they will clearly come to the conclusion that Mathews will be back in 4-6 weeks. If anyone is wondering why I am saying this is because of the following reasons:
1)This "guestimate" is from a Chicago-based doctor who has no experience in evaluating football players injuries. It says that this doctor has experience with basketball and baseball players. 2)This doctor never bothered to fly out to San Diego to take a look at the man, or get on the phone to talk with him or his trainers who are working with him to try and get back on the field. 3)The Chargers, their medical staff or Mathews himself, never acknowledged this timetable for his possible return.
Who are you guys going to believe, Mathews' trainers and medical staff who work with him, see him, talk to him on a daily basis to try and get him back on the field by week 3 or 4 at the latest or some doc in Chicago who probably never even seen his chart?

Mathews is back at practice. He may not play next Monday, but he is healthy enough to practice. So much for "back until December" huh?

I am truly surprised at how fast he is recovering. I'm real happy about it but I hope they don't rush him back to early. It's a long season. Actually from what I read they aren't pushing him. He is pushing them. He wants to have a great season and that would be fine with me.
Hey Sirshockwave! Go Chargers! do do do dut do dooooooo, CHARGE!

I can't believe he is actually back at practice. But I did see an article about it so I guess it is true.
