More and more I am doubting that the Steelers take an OT in the 1st Round. They already have invested 4 1st or 2nd Round Picks in their starting OL (Adams, Pouncey, DeCastro, and Gilbert) I have started thinking this way in the last month or so as well and said this in the thread I started in the Steelers forum. At some point you just can't keep using high picks at the same position over and over again. I think we have to invest the picks elsewhere and hope for better Health and improvement from what we have. The exception would be if we were in range for Matthews but we won't be.

I dont have a problem with a TE in the 3rd round, maybe even the 2nd round, but it would never happen over a DT or an OG. TE was a much bigger need in the 09 draft, and it still didnt happen until the mid 2nd round. The interior line has struggled on both sides of the ball. Mankins is 31, Connolly is 31, Wilfork is 32, and Kelly is 32. Ryan Wendall is set to become a FA.

First thing's first, if we're going CB in round 1, I WANT IFO! Second thing, why in the name of Air Coryell would we waste our second round pick on a RB?! We already have Mathews and Woodhead and we can find someone cheap who can replace Ronnie Brown in FA.

Their offense was ranked in the low teens and twenties without him and with him everything was top 10 to top 5. Without a good TE the Patriots aren't anywhere near as good as they can be. Gronk IMO isn't going to go a year without getting injured throughout the rest of his career, in fact I believe he will be retired within the next 3 years due to injury. If the Pats have a chance of grabbing a top flight TE I think they should do it. Wilkfork will be back next year which will shore up your DT for at least another season. The Pats can probably find a suitable second DT in the second round and Mankins should be good for another year or two as well. I honestly think TE is the Patriots biggest need.

Dennard is getting a lot of hype, but honestly I prefer Ifo. The kid is a gamer with natural DB instincts and aggression. Dennard is okay but the tactics he uses in school, will attract a lot of holding flags at the next level. When it comes to certain prospects I like one better than another. For example when it comes to OLBs I like Kyle Van Noy more than I like Anthony Barr or Khalil Mack.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if they took Darqueze Dennard from Michigan State. Ike Taylor could be cut at some point next season and if he isn't, he is 33 and going to be 34 during 2014. He is our oldest player other than Keisel and Ryan Clark, who are both Free Agents this offseason. CB is going to be our most immediate need, with a huge dropoff once Taylor is gone. I can see OT, CB, WR, and even DE all being options for them in the first round. Bottom line is I don't think we keep both Gilbert and Adams long term, with Adams likely staying if he improves next season. I agree that they will only be taking an OT if the top 2 or 3 OTs are still on the board and if they are BPA. Darqueze Dennard would be a fantastic option especially if he keeps improving. My dream first two rounds would be OT Cameron Erving or CB Darqueze Dennard in the first and then WR Allen Robinson or TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins

Haven't thought about the Colts drafting a guard. I don't know if they can make a run at some guard in free agency, but if they can't, they better draft one.
And I had WR as a need for them, but for this Moncrief to be in the 3rd round he might not be a #1/#2 player in the future. And the Colts have four WRs who can play the slot (T.Y. Hilton, Da'Rick Rogers, LaVon Brazill, Griff Whalen). So if the Colts are going to draft a WR, it should be a #1/#2 for Wayne's replacement
