@bengalmania2 and @hebertespinosa have been discussing where we should play the NFL Survivor Pool game that a lot of you were interested in. Here's a description from Hebert himself on how each game is played on the various websites: There are 3 different sites I know where Survivor can be played: ESPN, Fox Sports and Yahoo! Each one of them has slightly different approaches to "surviving": ESPN: Incorrect picks are allowed throughout the season, being the only consequence a "no score" for each wrong pick. Fox Sports: Allows no more than 3 incorrect picks. An entrant who picks four games incorrectly is eliminated from contention. Yahoo!: The only "win-or-go-home" game that I know. One wrong pick and you're out. There are options for "second-chances" as well.

Can't we just manually do it here, instead of making people have to sign up somewhere?

Can't we just manually do it here, instead of making people have to sign up somewhere? Didnt think about it, but that does sound like a fair idea Its a little bit of work, but not nearly as much work as the pickem game in the past We basically can keep track of BOTH a survivor league where your done after you lose AND do a whole season one.

I still voted in favor of Yahoo!, because it's all automatic and gives no one an extra job of managing everybody's picks, but if somebody is willing to do this here and show results like the example above (which is visually very nice), then fine with me.

For those who missed the other thread, here are the differences among all three sites that are being voted (quoting myself from the other thread):
ESPN: Incorrect picks are allowed throughout the season, being the only consequence a "no score" for each wrong pick.
Fox Sports: Allows no more than 3 incorrect picks. An entrant who picks four games incorrectly is eliminated from contention.
Yahoo!: The only "win-or-go-home" game that I know. One wrong pick and you're out. There are options for "second-chances" as well.
If doing it manually here wins, we will still have to choose from one of the formats above or optionally agree on a format of our own, even though the example by beast suggests a "one-and-out" model.

If the votes dont change, the #1 clear thing is that it needs to be done on here
But it still doesnt answer the question on what we should run. We might have to start up another poll on this in a couple of days, asking people the prefered "method" that should be played IF done on here.
