There could be so much more to both the stories and I'm sure we will hear more as time goes on. I don't like the way some media people want to break the story so bad they make stuff up. But that happens all the time. I'm not saying Hernandez didn't do it I'm just saying you can't believe anything early in situations like this.
As far as the guy filing a civil suit now, that's easy to explain. It's very possible Hernandez was paying him already. And now he figures he needs to get it on paper. Or he could be stretching the truth. Time will tell.

Yeah, it's gotta be BS from some lowlife - NFL got it this time.... www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000213516/article/lawsuit-alleges-aaron-hernandez-shot-man-in-floridasnippet: "NFL.com has also obtained the police report from the Palm Beach County Sherriff's office related to the incident in question. Police responded to a call after a male, later identified as Bradley, was seen in an alley after apparently being shot in the head and the hand. Bradley repeatedly said at the time he did not know who shot him, and the gunshots were not self-inflicted. The case is currently inactive. Attempts to reach Hernandez's representation were unsuccessful."

Very well could be the guy is just looking for money. Like those women were more than likely doing with Ben. But he will more than likely see a suspension at least. Even if nothing comes of it. Unless the NFL shows favoritism towards the patriots. Which we know they never do.... Wait.... It reminds me of the first accusation against Ben. The women just sued him. The 2nd one was reported to police, and that is the one where there was at least enough evidence to know that Ben was doing something fishy.

patriotsk1d - yup, sounds that way to me too. If so, it's painfully transparent, and the guy could be looking at a counter suit. THere's no way this wouldn't have come out anyway. It's not like rape. If you have to get your entire faced fixed in a real hospital, and a bullet involved to boot, uh...there are gonna be some questions by the authorities. Yeah that doesnt seem like something you can just hide easily. SI is now reporting that Hernandez is not to believe a suspect, a complete 180 from their original report yesterday. The Patriots do not believe Hernandez is involved according to Rotoworld, and Adam Sheftner.

Patriotsk1d. I know its natural to protect your guys. I do the same. I'm looking at it from an outsider who really hopes he had nothing to do with it. But this statement is just wrong.

He is obviously involved or his rental car and police at his house would not be there. Whether he had anything to do with the shootings in both cases or not, he is involved. Or we wouldn't have a thread about it.

The car was rented in his name at a prior point, he just happened to rent the same car according to reports. Newstations like TMZ and SI have done a great job adding additional speculation to this. He is involved in the investigation, I was saying those sources do not believe he was involved in the homicide. And I will defend my players until their is actual evidence against them. So far I have seen no evidence that leads me to believe that he is guilty of anything. The civil suit appears like a guy looking for money, the homicide just seems like a mix up to me. We will know more in the next couple of days hopefully, but as of now it would be unfair for me or anything to claim him guilty.

Agree Patriotsk1d we are always innocent until proven guilty. No matter what though I think there may be trouble for him in NFL and Patriot land. It's not their way.
Good luck to anyone who is innocent.

rotoworld has flipped their story and now claims Hernandez is directly tied to the Murder, however they are going off a local fox news source. This should get interesting...

That's a good source. It's a primary source from a law enforcement official. It's looking a lot like Hernandez had a role of some sort in the murder.
