National Champions!
Dominated Syracuse from the 2nd quarter on.
ACC Lacrosse may be even better than ACC Basketball starting next year.

I was at the game, the semis, the two quarterfinal games at College Park (Cornell-OSU and Cuse-Yale) and the Maryland-Cornell game to start the playoffs. I am a Hopkins fan, so it was merely for the entertainment of myself and my family. This season sucked. Our entire team was made up of seniors and none of them panned out. Ranagan and co. all fell apart in the Loyola game in such a ridiculous manner. They had four times as many turnovers as points. Before the playoffs, my family and some of our friends made brackets and I picked Duke over Syracuse so I won the bracket. Not saying I actually thought they were the best team, but they were on a roll up until that point. The only team they had lost to was Carolina who blew that ridiculous lead in that game. We were definitely not rooting for Cuse or Duke, seeing as we despise both by nature, but congrats to Duke for winning. Fowler is a beast. Man, I was annoyed to have missed watching the Carolina-Denver game After the end of college lax and after the Caps season ends each year, the sports for me from June-August are Arena Football (Soul) and MLL (Bayhawks).

Anyone following this year? I was there today, and certainly Duke had something to prove against Denver. What I find amazing is that Notre Dame was statistically the worst ACC team this year, but won the tournament and somehow finds itself in the Finals. If they could win this, that would be the ultimate cindarella season.
Although neither of the games were terribly good, it was fun to watch for the sake of the sport and hanging out with friends who enjoy the sport. We also ran into Dave Pietramala during halftime of one game and briefly spoke to him, which was awesome.
Definitely rooting for Notre Dame to win but Duke should take it by 3-6 goals. The upset could happen, but the way Duke's attack has been playing lately, I don't know if there's anything that can really get in their way. I guess if Bryant can beat Cuse, anything is possible. I'll be there on Monday at M&T Bank for the finals. Should be fun.
