Now if you are going by what you think they will be AFTER the season, then I would TRULY put SEA 3rd, PIT 4th, NYG 5th, PHI 6th. SEA 2nd, Pit 3rd, NYG 3, and agreed PHI 6 tier if we are talking about at the end of the season imo.

I agree on where Oakland is ranked now. What i've been hearing is a lot of good things, but until we can get the penalties fixed and can prove we have improved in the pass D (Have heard good and bad things out of camp around the CBs) they cant be any higher. With that said, even if we have the best season we could on D i see tier 3 being the absolute best, and even then it feels like that would be a stretch.

(TALENT wise) But we won't get that good this year. We have Spagnuolo now. He isn't a great HC (as you found out), but he is a GREAT defensive coordinator. You will see a major improvement from the Saints D this year, I will bet money on it.

In a few years, the pats will be a top 10 defense, you heard. So much young talent. I just wish they could communicate better on game days. they look really good in practice. possible starters in 5 years: DL: Jones, Future player, Future player, Bequette LB: Hightower, Spikes, Mayo DB: McCourty, Wilson, Chung, Dowling
There's so much potential. BB needs to get the best out of them before him an brady have to throw in the towel

no love for the saints? i dont think the saints should be in the bottom tier, let alone that low in the tier. im not worried about losing will smith, they lost vilma but got lofton and hawthorne. only signficant loss they have is tracy porter but patrick robinson has been improving and should be able to fill his spot. not to mention they got rid of mr. blitz every play and brought in spags so they shouldnt give up as many big plays

Past 2 years, he hasn't even reached the 7 sack mark. I honestly think Junior Galette is better nowadays. Smith is getting up there in age.
