nfl.com just released their 7 round mock. For the Seahawks they chose: #56 Just Pugh, OT Syracuse #87 Jordan Hill, DT Penn State #123 Gerald Hodges, OLB Penn State #138 Dion Simms, TE Michigan State #158 Marc Anthony, CB California #194 Mike Catapano, DE Princeton #220 Mike Boyd, DT Mississippi State #231 Kerwynn Williams, RB Utah State #241 Daimion Stafford, S Nebraska #242 Johnny Adams, CB Michigan State I'm not sure how much I like this draft.

Here's to clarify.
#56 Justin Pugh
I would really like to replace Breno Giacomini in the RT position, but Carroll and company have not given any indication that they are wanting to do that. It isn't that Giacomini had a bad year last year, he really did a good job. It's all those late hits and personal fouls that he had. So, without any indication that they are looking for a switch at RT, there would be no reason to take a tackle in the second round, especially since its the teams first pick. From who was still on the board, I would have preferred Kyle Long if it had to be an OLineman.
#87 Jordan Hill
Now I like Hill, just not as a 3rd rounder. In my 7 round mock on cbs I took him in the 5th round. The Seahawks do need depth at the DT position, but they are looking at a vacant OLB starting position that hasn't been addressed yet. I don't think you need to draft to need, but reaching for a guy who may be around later while ignoring the need doesn't make sense either.
#123 Gerald Hodges
I actually like this pick. I prefer Zaviar Gooden, but he was taken before the Hawks selection in the 3rd, so I can't say that he should have been taken. I've liked him in other mocks, but since I always got Gooden, I always passed on him. I think he would be able to come in and take over for Leroy Hill.
#138 Dion Simms
The Seahawks currently have 5 TEs on the roster right now (including at least one project TE in Fells), so I am not sure I see an early 5th on the position. I don't mind the pick personally, but just not sure that they'll look here for the position (granted if they did I would really like it to be this guy).
#158 Marc Anthony
Even though there are 10 CBs on the roster right now, I am not sure how many of them are really gonna be options for the roster at the end of camp. This guy projects fairly well, even if he isn't ready for substancial playing time right now.
#195 Mike Catapano
I don't know much about this guy, but I would still like to look at Lawrence Okoye at this spot (or around the 6th round). Now Okoye isn't in this mock, but I think someone is gonna take a late round flyer on him.
#220 Mike Boyd
No problems with taking late round DT depth.
#231 Kerwynn Williams
I really like Williams. I have seen a lot of Utah State football the last two years (a family friend starts RT of the Aggies). He is the type of player I could see taking over Leon Washington's role on the team. Besides, the two guys from USU from last year did pretty good.
#241 Daimion Stafford
I'm not sure there is even a backup safety role available, so why waste the pick. I mean, please DEAR LORD, get a QB who can beat Brady Quinn out so that the Hawks can cut him!!!!
#242 Johnny Adams
This would make the 12th (including Anthony) CB for the Seahawks. Competition is good I guess, but I doubt the go in with a full dozen of them. I can see Chandler Fenner and Ron Parker being suseptible to getting cut. Walter Thurmond's injury history could leave him vulberable. But that would still leave 9, and I just don't know how many will be kept. I don't mind the pick though, it is the 7th round, can't be TOO picky, I guess.
I would have addressed another WR, a back up QB and possibly a K at some point in the draft, most likely the 6th or 7th.
