www.gamestop.com/collection/trade-inWas thinking about GTA 5 coming out and the new Madden, so I was looking to see how much Madden 13 would give me if I traded it in, and I came across the 30% extra trade in credit when I trade in my games for an order of GTA5 or BF4 (I'm getting both of them. Plus my powerups card, so I can get 40% more in-store credit when trading in games for this week. but yeah the 3 top games I want this year are GTA V, BF4, and Madden 25

I believe you will get around 15 for madden without the extra 40$, so you should rack in 20+ for Madden, and you should get around the same for BF3, IMO.

Yeah I've been thinking about trading in CODBO2 for a month now. Maybe Madden and a few others too.
Will probably go the same route and put the credit toward GTA5.

Madden is 15 bucks trade-in value, confirmed yesterday,
and BF3 was 4 bucks, confirmed a couple of months ago.

Never trade in games... got rid of my Gameboy and Pokemon games and vowed I'll never get rid of another game!

Maddden 13 netted 14 dollars, Battlfield 3 gave me 7, and Hitman gave me 8.40.

WOW! are you kidding me right now Gamestop? They extended the 30% extra store credit to the 2nd AND made it so that you get $10 in store credit for trading in 3 games, and $20 for 5 games. I would've gotten 20 more dollars... SMH

I honestly feel so ripped off every time I trade in games.. I can take in 2 games that are still selling for 55$ used and I that doesn't even cover a brand new game.
When I take a game back to them, everything they clear on the game is money strait into the stores pocket, and they can't afford to give me a 30$ value on a 55$ game that they have already sold and likely made a good 40$ of mark up on.
So if I take back 2 games to them and they give me 30$ a piece towards them and they sell them for 55$ each they still clear a margin of 25$ a game! Instead the most I have ever received (and this was a deal where I traded it in towards a new game and got another 30% value) was 20$. so they cleared upwards of 30$ on that game.. and I still had to pay for 40$ on the new game I bought..
I'd be interested to know how many used games they sell every week and the amount of money that the EB games/gamestop brand makes off of it.. I bet you it is a very large amount.. Places like that stay in business due to the buying and selling of used games.
