Since I'm 49% liberal according to the test. And you guys are obviously totally liberal. Who should I vote for? Hillary or Bernie? Hillary is a total lying, establishment, career fraud, an Bernie has no clue how to do what he wants. Convince me otherwise. First off who are you directing the "totally liberal" at? Out of all the people who have participated in this thread recently we have. You, Myself, Saska, MO, Jancey, Eagle, 101Mitch, Morkim and Juggs (did I miss anyone?) From there I can say there are maybe 4 people who are liberal. Saska, MO, Eagle and Myself. Though I can't actually say that for sure. Myself for example I definitely lean to the left, but I more often than not judge by the person. I want to see political parties abolished and for each person to run on their own merit. That way people can't just say "I'm republican I always vote republican." Same goes for democrats. I think thats a massive problem, because it takes thought out of the equation, and we need people to actually think about who they are voting for. So yea I lean left as I agree with more of their policies but I wouldn't exactly call myself a liberal. Can't speak for MO, Saska, or Eagle. Juggs, is a socialist, which leans well past being a liberal. Jancey identifies republican, as you may remember he was actually going door to door, campaigning for Rand Paul, a republican. I believe he also despises Hillary and Obama as much as you do, if not more. Don't really know where Mork and Mitch lie with their political allegiance. I kinda thought both of them lean more to the right but am unsure.. maybe they can clear that up. So who are you directing this at? I like how you call Hillary a liar, and then tout Trump as a beacon of truth. I in no way think Hillary is truthful, nor do I think any politician for that matter is truthful, but you need to turn your head on straight if you think Hillary lies more than Trump does. Read that article. www.nytimes.com/2015/12/13/opinion/campaign-stops/all-politicians-lie-some-lie-more-than-others.html?_r=0As you will notice. They are all liars to a certain degree. Hillary being no exception to it. However Hillary also says a lot more shit that is true or at least mostly true than the guy you have been touting as this amazingly awesome truth speaker. You want to be convinced of who to vote for? What makes you want to vote for someone? Policies? The person themselves? Truthfulness? If you want to vote for the people who speak truest, Bernie and Hillary are both over 50% on the shit they say being true. I don't really know if I would say I am a democrat or a republican. Although for this election Bernie is my favorite candidate. I hate Trump. I really don't want Cruz or Hilary to be president. I like Kasich, but I don't think he has any chance at all.

I like Kasich, but I don't think he has any chance at all. He doesn't. I would vote for him.

I was just reading up more on Kasich and, while I don't really like him he's easily the only decent option left for the Republicans. I don't agree with his views on certain issues, but for the most part his solutions are lower risk than anything Trump or Cruz come up with. The areas I most strongly disagree with Kasich are education (he's cut $84 million from Ohio's public school budget) and military, where he thinks America should increase spending and get boots on the ground.

Watch "rising threats, shrinking military" Yes its on Fox channel. But if that does not piss you off, you are not American. I like Obama's idea. That force is not needed. But that is such a rouse. Wake up people. The world is going to take us over. Russia is our biggest threat, just like Romney said years ago, when Obama laughed at him.
Prepare for the end of American dominance in the free world. Obama did it on purpose. And Hillary will be a third term, which will only see a world war three. Russia is our biggest threat, just like Obama laughed at. As he called ISIS JV. The man has no idea what he is doing in foreign policy.

Why is Russia the biggest threat?

Don't you read any conspiracy theories? It's all a sinister plot. How come? What makes you think that? Why is Russia the biggest threat? Russia is the only country with the power to cripple us. And they have been being annoying lately.

I read this on face book and instantly thought of this site.
Over the past several days, I've seen an uptick in Facebook posts declaring that they were "unfriending" people over differences of opinion or dislike of tone, or proclaiming a controversial opinion and then immediately shutting the door on conversation, saying "Unfriend me if you wish."
What a sad use of politics, and what a degraded notion of "friendship." You may disagree with me - in fact, you probably do, about something - but you're almost certainly still okay in my book. (And if you're not, well, you're not reading this.)
I was reminded of a beautiful letter Jefferson wrote, from which one sentence is often quoted: "I never considered a difference of opinion in politics, in religion, in philosophy, as cause for withdrawing from a friend." The whole letter is actually beautiful (whatever one's personal opinion about Mr. Jefferson himself).
Edit. Oh and just for the record, I have never unfriended or blocked anyone ever. I did annoy the main mod at nfl.com once bad enough he banned me. And I banned myself here a couple of times.

No I don't really read the conspiracy stuff. Why did Obama do it on purpose? What did he do to do it? Russia is the only country able to cripple us? Cripple us how? Financially? Blowing up our cities? I'm confused what you meant.
