Cruz and Rubio actually support NSA spying, which is about the least conservative policy possible. Rand Paul should be hammering that argument because he is an anti-NSA candidate but he didn't condemn the NSA and the candidates who support it - he only focused on immigration. That's just a strategic error.

Look at Bernie Sanders. Plenty of things he does and says are considered to be political mistakes. But he's stuck with the same agenda for 40 years and he's gone from 5% to 50% in six months anyway. |
