The Pats didn't beat ONE team with a winning record before they signed Billy Cundiff and Lee Evans; they're gone now.. B*tch Boots Brady will have a tougher time this year.. 60 tds? Crazy talk. Patriots had only Giants and Steelers in their schedule as winning teams, they beat the Ravens

Since your soooo interested in winning records I decided to do some research Week 1 against Dolphins (0-0): 38-24 W Week 2 against Chargers (1-0): 35-21 W Week 3 against Bills (2-0): 31-34 L Week 4 against Raiders (2-1): 31-19 W Week 5 against Jets (2-2): 30-21 W Week 6 against Cowboys (2-2): 20-16 W Week 8 against Steelers (5-2): 17-25 L Week 9 against Giants (5-2): 20-24 L Week 10 against Jets (5-3): 37-16 W Week 15 against Broncos (8-5): 41-23 W Divisional round against Broncos (9-8): 45-10 W Conference round against Ravens (13-4): 23-20 W Super Bowl against Giants (12-7): 17-21 L That's 13 of 19 opponents that had above 0.500 records when heading into the match against the Pats and the Pats were 9-4 against such teams so you can just shut it on how we can't beat winning teams.

Ace, Ace..We've had this discussion already more than once, I'm sure. You're being obtuse.. If the Pats had beaten the Colts in week #2 (Colts being 1-0) you think that's a win over a +.500 team? Come on, now. We both know we're talking FINAL records, and we both know I'm not making up anything. This conversation was even had on the networks during the playoffs lat year, so save the "outrage," it's a long season.

well let's see they had a record above 0.500 when they came in the match so yea they were a winning team. Too bad they didn't beat the Colts in week 2 but week 13. So say you lost to a team that was 7-0 at the time but at the end of the season they are 7-9. Did you lose to a winning team or losing team??? FInal records don't me a damnnn thing cuz it didn't happen when they were playing. oh yea, we didn't beat a 0.500 team, must of forgot the Ravens were a 7-9 team that made the playoffs

Maybe you're a different guy.. Anyway - Do you not remember Nfl Network having this very debate as the Pats headed into the Playoffs? No? Well, that's your problem. A team that finishes 7-9 is a LOSING team, Ace.It doesn't matter if you beat them when they're 7-0.A "winning" or "losing" season/record is determined after 16 games, not 7. I have to explain that? The only relief you get here is that the Pats had a larger number on the scoreboard against the Ravens..The only time all year against a winning team, and we all saw how that came to be, but scoreboard nonetheless..

I don't remember when 5-3 wasn't considered a winning record? Maybe it's below 0.500 and I'm just bad at math??? I guess losing to a 7-9 Seahawks team or 5-11 Jags team sounds better than losing to a 2-6 Seahawks team or 1-5 Jags team so you look at the final record instead... It does matter if they are 7-0. It shows that they were the top team at the time because they were "winning". Everyone has a way to belittle someone else's achievements. Some point to spygate, others point to the "Brady" rules, more talk about the "easy" schedule and then we got the "SB team that can't beat a winning team" when we faced 13 teams that had 0.500 or above at the time, maybe we were 0-13 against those teams??? Anyways even if we didn't beat a "winning" team in the regular season (according to your weird definition), we did it twice in the playoffs when it counted
