I posted a thread just asking to go into admin functions to let us easily see the last few threads we participated in. Was this somehow deleted?!? And why.

Sorry Dive, I forgot to tell you. LAB suggested I move it to the Questions thread (stickied). I moved the posts to that thread.

I'll take the blame for this one dive. Both panther and I are new at trying to run a board like this. This has gone from nothing to a forum with 50+ members and 3400+ posts in 2 weeks. We're trying to sort out problems and anticipate new ones. Sometimes there are crossed lines and things are done that weren't intended that upset people. What happened here is this: 24 hours ago there were nearly 30 different topic groups scrolling down the screen. We talked about how to start reducing some of this so that it doesn't spiral out of control and become difficult to find things. As an example there were 8 different sections for team rooms. Now there's 1 - and the layout is better for it. Yesterday the main thread that would have been of interest to you was called 'Questions for King Panther'. I suggested that it be changed to 'Questions and improvement ideas for mods'. The idea being that suggestions would all go into one thread were they wouldn't be lost or discarded if not agreed with and acted upon. Very briefly that change was made, but then it was changed back again and you created a new Improvement thread. Neither panther or myself had a problem with that. What happened was that I commented to panther that if the thread had been left with the name I had suggested you would likely have posted your idea in there. I didn't suggest that it be moved and I wouldn't have done so. panther misunderstood what I was getting at and moved the posts from your new thread into that thread and changed the king panther title thread. That's my fault. It was a mistake on my part that looked disrespectful and shouldn't have happened. What we are trying to do is anticipate where people will create lots of very similar threads and create a main thread for it rather than have those multiple 5-10 post threads. We don't have experience with running forums. We don't know how much space we'll have or how best to deal with future thread archiving issues. My guess is that this forum will have 200+ members in 2 months time and a lot of traffic. Sorry, but we'll make some mistakes along the way.
As for your suggestion I don't see that it improves anything. I'm in favour of letting people see it and voting on whether they prefer it but if I were voting right now i'd be voting against it. As I understand it you want a box with your recent activity put above all the forum categories. People wouldn't want to keep looking at it and scrolling past it in my opinion. If people want to access their recent activity they can do so by clicking profile.
(Please) don't shoot the nice moderator.

LAB is 100% with everything, espically the fact we are new at running a forum. Once we get experience, hopefully everything will run smooth. I'll mainly take the blame for moving your posts, I was the one who did it and your thread did deserve conversation and was worth a thread. I don't know if I could handle 200+ Members ...

I've no idea how this forum will change. My guess is that it will have a life of its own and I have no idea how many people will come here. I see no reason for it to become quieter once the football season really kicks in though. I've already said that i'd like to see other people form their own forums and loosely network them together as hubs. I don't know whether that's your view or whether you have a user limit in mind here or if you want to push for mass membership. I don't really mind either way. I'm happy to just try to help out.

I don't have a limit on people. I plan on inviting anyone who contirbutes and isn't a big problem. That's not what I was planning on, but I wouldn't mind that.
