With the Eagles having one of the worst defenses in HISTORY you have them taking two offensive players in the first two rounds? Your mock, but I highly doubt the Eagles or any team takes Manuel in the first two rounds I assume you want Milliner to the Eagles? The last time a CB was taken with the 4th overall selection was Woodson back in 1998. Claiborne was a better prospect coming out last year and he went 6th overall. The CB class has nice depth around the middle rounds so they could always go that route instead of taking one with such a high round selection. An OT like Joeckel would fit nice with what Kelly probably wants to do and it's not unusual for new regimes to take some combination of QB/OT or WR or TE in the first two rounds. Manuel has a strong chance to increase his stock at the combine when he displays his superior physical traits compared to the rest of the class. It's also very possible that Kelly passes this year on a QB too and just waits for 2014.

Updated mock. Had to remove Star for now until further information is received.

I personally don't like the trade up but it is something that will most likely happen. Buffalo has spoken highly of Geno, the only thing is that they are also impressed of Barkley as well.

How you can say Claiborne is better than milliner is beyond me...Claiborne is 2 inches shorter and slower than milliner. Milliner is much better than Claiborne. Still even after the Combine I dont see Manuel going til the 3rd round.

Still even after the Combine I dont see Manuel going til the 3rd round. Milliner does not play on the field at the same speed he displayed at the Combine. 40 times and actual football speed are different for every player. Kendall Wright had a 4.6 time last year but anyone who watches the tape knows he is MUCH faster than that during a game. How about Dontari Poe's 40 time last year being superior to Vontaze Burfict? Burfict is still much faster on the field but Poe just happens to be a beast running in a straight line. Claiborne's smaller stature allows him to have more natural hip movement and make plays on the ball. Watch how explosive he is when he makes an aggressive move in coverage. As for Manuel, there's no way he falls to the 3rd round with his physical abilities. It will be too tempting for some team to reach on him just based on his potential upside. I'm not saying he's going to be a great player or anything but he's a classic "ignore the film" sort of player teams fall in love with.

Agree to disagree. Only team that take Manuel before the third is the Eagles. Milliner isnt that great with the ball, but he is a better prospect than Claiborne.
