Ace, that rule applies for almost every word starting in a vowel. However, in some cases, such as unicorn, you would use "a", not "an".

Ever hear that vowels are a, e, i, o, u, and sometimes y? (Well they should say usually 'u' and 'e'.) Any word starting with 'y', that y is not a vowel. The word 'pony', y is a vowel. Unicorn, united, the 'u' is not technically a vowel, it's pronounced 'you'. Same for a euphemism. That is your English lesson for today. Craig gets a rare gold star.

LOL I hate the A/AN rules... cause half the time when it's right it doesn't sound right. For instance "for an NFL player" sound phonetically right, but grammatically it's wrong

For instance "for an NFL player" sound phonetically right, but grammatically it's wrong Gray area, as you'd pronounce it either 'en eff el' or 'national football league'. So in this case, I believe ether would be correct. ;-P This situation comes up a lot for me in terms like 'LM' for example.

ok back on subject....
from what ive seen, there are 6 teams right now i would put in order right now of having the best chance to get him
6.browns-they need a true #1 WR and with new management they could get him 5.redskins-RG3 and harvin would be scary 4.dolphins-this team badly needs WR's and doesnt have any. plus hes from florida 3.49ers-if this were to happen, that means alex smith would be a viking 2.bengals-yes i think they are in the mix, because mike browns loves trouble players, so harvin fits the book 1.pats-they will pull the jedi mindtricks on you and always make you look stupid in a trade

If he goes to the 49ers, then I doubt any team in the NFL would be able to stop their Offense. Imagine Harvin taking shovel passes, screens, and deep bombs from Kaepernick. It would drive DCs mad. Those two are perfect for each other IMO.

Even with the rumors floating around and the Eagles new coach and his obsession with speed? Bengal hates me
