reportedly so far the teams that are interested in him are the bills, eagles, cardinals and chiefs. where do you think he will end up?

Chiefs would make sense considering they might not want to draft a QB #1 overall...Bills is the other possibility IMO. Don't think it'll be the Eagles or Cards

get ready to take the eagles out of the mix. reports are they are gonna pursue dennis dixon, former oregon and steelers QB. he started a couple games for the steelers and didnt look that bad for the most part. they are looking to sign him after the superbowl, since hes still part of the ravens practice squad
the jaguars and browns were also in the mix from what ive heard
so let me narrow it down
i say the chiefs, cardinals, and bills will all pass on him. they all need to draft a QB, and trading for someone or signing for someone in the past like these teams did (matt cassel, kevin kolb, ryan fitzpatrick) will not work again for either team
that leaves the jags and browns
an upgrade from gabbert to smith wouldnt make much sense since they both suck and are just game managers. and it looks like the jags will be trying to draft a QB anyway, but not in the 1st round
the browns will get alex smith. hes been coached under norv turner at one point when he was with san fran. he would be a nice upgrade over brandon weeden and colt mccoy who neither guy is the answer anyway. then in the 2014 or 2015 draft the browns can draft another QB later. smith would be a nice short term solution

I could potentially see the Jets make a surprise move for him. It is obvious that Tebow will be gone, and I think Rex is the only person who actually believes Sanchez is their best option. Smith's ceiling next season is very similar to that of Sanchez, but I would expext at least a 2:1 TD:TO ratio for Smith(maybe 1.5:1 for Sanchez), as well as fewer mistakes late in games.

The Jets have huge cap problems. I've heard all sorts of figures banded about. I don't see how they could absorb Smith's $8.75 cap figure.
