1. Raiders (via Chiefs): Manti Teo, ILB, ND
Rolando McClain has not panned out as planned and will likely not be with the team next year
2. Jaguars: Bjoern Werner, DE, FSU
DE is a glaring need for the Jags and Werner is arguably the most NFL-ready prospect in all the draft. Werner would start and contribute immediately.
3. Chiefs (via Raiders): Geno Smith, QB, WV
I really do not like this pick. Geno does not deserve a top 10 selection, but the Chiefs are in a sticky situation, as they aren't going anywhere without a quarterback, so there will be immense pressure to address that need with their first-round selection.
4. Eagles: Luke Joeckel, OT, T A&M
If the Eagles want to go anywhere with Foles likely as their franchise QB from now on, they need to keep him upright. Joeckel provides a very smart OT who is very smooth in pass protection but must develop in run blocking and physicality.
5. Lions: Johnthan Banks, CB, MSU
The Lions have one of the worst pass defenses in the league in a division with passers like Aaron Rodgers, Jay Cutler, and the Deadly Christian Ponder. Banks is a very smart, physical corner who will contribute immediately. One man cannot solve the Lions woes, but Banks will put them on the right track.
6. Browns: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
The Browns' pass rush is unacceptable despite having Jabaal Sheard and Frostee Rucker on the D-line. Jarvis Jones could prove to be the missing puzzle piece. Jones is an all-around defensive stud, being far from just a pass rusher. Jones proves capable of playing the run as well as dropping back into coverage.
7. Cardinals: Taylor Lewan, OT, Mich
If the Cardinals wish to keep whoever is their QB up next season, they will need help on the line. Lewan is among the most athletic linemen in this year's class and has the potential to develop into a franchise left tackle.
8. Broncos (via Bills): Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
The Broncos have few glaring needs but the most obvious one seems to be inside run support. Star provides upper and core strength to simply rag-doll offensive linemen, a thick build well suited to anchoring against the run. Here, the Broncos snag possibly the best defensive player in the draft to add to an already top 5 D.
9. Jets: Tyler Wilson, QB, Ark
No need to explain this one.
10. Titans: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missou
I do not like Richardson, but I believe this pick will happen simply because of all the media hype surrounding him. Richardson is probably the most athletic DT in the draft and could possibly anchor the Titans run D, also freeing up Derrick Morgan to work one-on-one more often. Casey and Richardson could develop into the best DT duo in a division with Arian Foster and MJD.
11. Chargers: Jake Matthews, OT, T A&M
12. Dolphins: Keenan Allen, WR, Cal
13. Buccaneers: Dee Milliner, CB, Bama
14. Panthers: Johnathan Hankins, DT, OSU
15. Saints: Johnathan Jenkins, DT, Georgia
16. Rams: Eric Fisher, OT, C. Mich
17. Steelers: Damontre Moore, DE/OLB, T A&M
18. Cowboys: Barrett Jones, OG/C, Bama
19. Giants: Dion Jordan, DE/OLB Oregon
20. Bears: Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma
21. Rams: Terrance Williams, WR, Baylor
22. Vikings: Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee
23. Bengals: Alexander Ogletree, LB, Georgia
24. Ravens: Xavier Rhodes, CB, FSU
25. 49ers: Sam Montgomery, DE, LSU
26. Colts: Chance Warmack, OG, Bama
27. Packers: Tyler Eifert, TE, ND
28. Seahawks: Robert Woods, WR, USC
29. Texans: Tavon Austin, WR, WV
30. Patriots: Justin Hunter, WR, Tennessee
31. Falcons: Alex Okafor, DE, Texas
32. Bills (via Broncos): Barkevious Mingo, DE/OLB, LSU
Trades
1. Chiefs trade 1.1 for Raiders 1.3, 4rd round pick
2. Bills trade 1.8 to the Broncos for 1.32, 2nd round pick, WR Matthew Willis, 4th round pick
