pokemon red was my favorite pokemon game as always. the sad thing about it though is that your inventory could only hold 20 items. personally, i found myself playing the gold version more often than the red one through time i am close to completing my emerald version soon, sort of. need 2 more badges though still ------------------ alright enough of my thoughts for now, back on track of this subject jindred, im not sure how interested you want one of these guys, but im recommending zapdos or aritcuno. all start out on level 50, so training them wont be hard. i would recommend moltres but you got a fire type already not a big fan of snorlax honestly. it seems more of a defense than offense pokemon. i think you need to consider adding a fighting pokemon. hitmonlee or hitmonchan would be easier maybe, but ive always been a big big fan of machoke I actually ended up getting frustrated in the search and just trained my Pigeot up to lvl60 lol.. I ended up beating the Elite 4 with ease aside from the first chick.. I only had one pokemon with electric attacks and it was Dragonite.. I should have switched her out for Flareon when I got to Jynx but I didn't and Icebeam kicked my ass! Bruno is pretty simple if you have A water pokemon and either a flying or a psychic pokemon. The Ghost lady can be taken out with a Niddoqueen that knows Crunch and Earthquake pretty quickly. And Lance goes down fast to a Dragonite that Knows Thunderbolt, Icebeam and Outrage. Gary is pretty simple as long as you have a pokemon to counter each of his.. All in all I think I had a pretty strong lineup, Pigeot wasn't super useful aside from saving my ass against the water/ice lady. I was down to Pigeot against her Lapras... Not a great matchup.. thankfully she had already used her potions! Next is to go get Mewtwo and such!

Just started pokemon white over! I was about halfway through it but I hadn't played it for months and I hated my team!
Chose Snivy as my starter and I am on my way to gym 1!

Im older than all you guys. I played Red and Blue when it FIRST CAME OUT. 1996 BITCHES. I played up til the 3rd generation, took a break from it for about 4 years through high school, then me and my friends got back into it in college. I bought a DS just to get Diamond. I havent played White or Black or the sequels. My 8 years old brother broke my DS when I left it at my dads house one time. He also ruined my EPIC pokemon card collection. I had every card in the original set.... Plus tons more obviously. I seriously thought about punching him in the face when I found out. Original 151 is the best. It went downhill from there. I'm glad it came out when it did. I couldn't imagine being introduced to pokemon when there were more than 151 and not being about to experience just the originals alone first. Sucks for you guys! Agreed that the Original 151 (152 if togepi is included) are by far the best. I honestly don't think the others are bad just no way they can top the original 152 Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle were and still are to this day the best 3 starters in all of pokemon! My favorite starter evolution is probably Torchick/Combusken/Blaziken. It has the most bad-ass design of all the starters, especially considering it is based off a chicken LOL. It also has a great type (Fire/Fighting) and signature moves (Blaze Kick, Sky Uppercut).

I really think it will be a new series (with new pokemon) announcement. It fits into their timeline. They seem to do a new version every two years or so with a slightly modified version of it. Black/White came out in 2011 so take what you want from that.

Would be nice to have a game that actually utilized my 3DS 3D capability.. Pokemon could really be sweet with that. Maybe they are going to make one giant pokemon game where you start in Kanto, and go through every region?
