The NRA held a press conference today that blamed the media, movies and video games for the violence visited upon that elementary school last week, saying that the proliferation of guns in our society is not the problem.
Then-- they announced their own new initiative and called upon congress to put armed police/security in every single school in America, because "the only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun.”
I guess that means we should also be looking at posting armed guards at the entrance of every shopping mall, movie theater, and church across the nation, too.

Armed guards are already at malls.
Whatever it takes.
80% of the time...all cops do is react to a crime anyway..they dont neccessarily prevent crimes. But I bet you criminals that intend to do harm will think twice about doing it if they see ppl with guns all around them.
Yeah its sad. Thats what we have become. A society of freaks.

Guns are not going to be leaving anytime soon. Kids in schools are at risk now from copy cat people. Protect them now. I have shared that I live three blocks from Santana high School. My daughter was there. Google Santana High shooting. There has been a police car parked out front everyday ever since. Same with the high school down the street. West hills. No problems since.
Nothing wrong with having armed guards at schools! Provides jobs and keeps your kids safer. If you don't think having an armed guard or two standing around at a school won't detour a coward from coming in, you are wrong.
By the way ceven, that is one of my favorite movies. Falling Down!. Poor guy just wanted to go home. He had a bad day.

There may come a time when America decides to get rid of schools. All classes will be attended on-line. Those life-like cardboard cut-outs are going to be great for for web-cams.
