never played football at school. often played football outside school though, and in GYM class. mostly played whatever on defense, mostly CB or S. hated playing the offense, but when i did, it was the OL. usually people hate blocking because its no action, but its important IMO, so i dont mind playing it. CB and S i just liked being the last line of defense most of the time
i played baseball at high school though. mainly i pitched out of the bullpen or played some outfield, when i needed too. didnt play that long at baseball, but i was OK
got in one fight though during a baseball game. i gave up a run, and the catcher tried to stop the runner, but got ran over instead and it counted as a run. then the runner said something to my catcher, which got me angry, so i ran over and started cussing at him, and then the next thing i knew, i was blindsided by one of the other baseball players on the other team, and a brawl broke out. didnt know who sucker punched me

I played corner and NT in high school, small school. I didnt bother playing other sports except for fun, but when we'd play 5 on 5 basketball i'd either play center or point guard. In my junior year of high school i tore my left ACL... problem was it was a sandlot game not even a school game. No pads low contact and i had some dude grab me by my ankle and instead of being smart i fought through it and snap there it went. wow... what a weird combination, corner and nose tackle? wow Jindredahhhhh the good ole days of football with the friends, I remember those days, and funny how my beginning was almost the same as yours I didn't know anyone from the middle school (partly cuz I only spent grade 6 in that town) so I was one of the last one to get picked. I would just run my routes and cover ppl. Eventually I would get the INTs and when the INTs came, I got balls coming my way too. My friend still joke that I catch everything that come my way. Every recess we would play football/baseball/basketball/mini stick (hockey) and basically anything else even skipping lunch to do so That is by far the best sort of sports! When you are playing with your friends! Its funny how many big hits you take as a kid playing with your friends and how every keeps getting up after! Anyone else here love taking massive solid hits right to the stomach/ chest?? or is it just me?

Anyone else here love taking massive solid hits right to the stomach/ chest?? or is it just me? Lol I think it's just you.. I just remembered a game I played at my local park when I was in middle school and I was playing with the highschoolers at the time except this one guy was like 6"1 280 pounds atleast. I never seen him before but I was picked as QB of the team and anyway he was like high or something and started talking crap to me and I called him a fat-ass or something.... Yeah, let's just say I learned my lesson. He came after me as soon as I hiked the ball and boy did he move faster than I could've ever expected, I threw the ball away and started running away and he kept following me.... And I was like wtf.... I didn't know what he was doing and then all of a sudden he does a diving tackle on me like 10 seconds after the play ends... I got crushed, lol.

but anyway I never really respected special teams until I actually PLAYED it. It's honestly the scariest part of the game in my opinion, and I got compeletly rocked everytime so I completely respect special team players like Devin Hester etc. because I know they all get their fair share of hits.

I was never allowed to play football for my school, but if I had, I would have probably been a fullback and/or linebacker. I am 5'10" and have not been under 230 pounds since beore high school. However, I do play with my friends(simple backyard games or flag), and I am a decent QB. Great accuracy, but only up to about 30 yards.
The reason I would have played LB instead of DL is my speed. Even at over 250 pounds, I could run as fast as my 5'9" 150-160 pound cousin(the only person I regularly compared my speed to). I have always been very fast.

DE, LB, and a little OG in high school.
I guess a couple multi-sack games with some fumble recoveries. Ohh and a punt return tackle on the 5 yard line iirc.

The only special teams I play is on the kickoff team and onside team, I was part of the hands team ;D too bad I whiffed at the only oppertunity of recovering an onside kick and it was in the playoffs
