the door for the playoff race for some teams has already closed and are closing on some teams. this is a classic possible elimination game right here
the bengals have more room for error than the cowboys right now, but the cowboys cant afford to lose more than 2 games right now
lets look at the positives and negatives of this game
positives: andy dalton has 10 TDs and 2 INTs in the last 4 games. tony romo is tied for 3rd in the league with 15 INTs. dalton has already thrown 24 TDs and if he keeps pace, he will throw 4000 yards. the bengals lead the league with 39 sacks. cowboys are last in the league in INTs with 5. a.j green is tied for the league with 10 recieving TDs. jermaine gresham has had 51 catches, 593 yards, and 5 TD's this year. benjarvus green ellis has rushed for 3 straight games of over 100 yards, the 1st time a bengal has done that since 1999 with corey dillon
negatives: tony romo has 10 TDs and 3 INTs on the road, compared to 9 TDs and 12 INTs at home. romo has also only thrown 2 INTs in the last 5 games. when demarco murray has 15 or more carries, they are 8-0. bengals run game is allowing over 140 yards a game on average. cowboys defense is currently 11th in the nfl
when your comparing each position for each teams, i think the bengals outmatch the cowboys. i do believe andy dalton is already a better QB than tony romo right now. our WR's and TE's i also think are better than the cowboys despite us only having a.j green and jermaine gresham and andrew hawkins, compared to dez bryant, miles austin and jason witten. the OL is no comparison, we have the better OL bar none. our defense is hot and our coaching is deep and i think we outmatch the cowboys in this too. only thing i see us not having better than the cowboys is the running game. law firm is hot, but demarco murray can be more explosive
more importantly, will demarcus ware be able to get past andrew whitworth. ware is one of the best player, but lately rob ryan has been misusing him IMO so we will find out how he will play

NOTES
WR mohamed sanu was placed on IR this week, so WR brandon tate is now the new starting #2 WR. the bengals promoted RB dan herron to the roster, who will be the 4th RB. WR vidal hazelton was signed to the practice squad
K mike nugent was injured this week in practice and will not play this game. the bengals went out and signed former rams K josh brown on the team. brown played for the jets in preseason but was cut after preseason. to make room for brown, former starting C jeff faine was cut. faine was signed before the season started because starting C kyle cook got injuried in preseason and was claimed out for most of the season. faine has struggled at C to the point that undrafted rookie trevor robinson has played better than him. trevor robinson is now the new starting C.
speaking of C's, kyle cook has been activated from the IR and is now the backup C to trevor robinson. he wont be starting this week, but the plan is get cook ready for the steelers and ravens who are teams that have tough NT's which might be too hard for trevor robinson to handle. to make room for him, forme starting WR armon binns was cut. binns had an impressive camp and got the starting WR job in week 2. however he was too incosistent at the time and didnt catch a pass since week 6. he only had 18 catches all year

PLAYOFF RACE
the broncos and patriots clinched there divisions already. the texans clinched there playoff spot but not the division yet but they likely will soon since they are 3 games up on the colts.
at first i said the wildcard hopes were all the bengals had. realistically we are back in the division race now too. the ravens have 4 tough games left this year and i could see them losing all of them
the colts and steelers remain the main targets for the bengals though, but since the bengals play the steelers one more time, that might be the bengals best chance to get ahead of now
the jets, bills, and dolphins are all 5-7 and alive in the playoff race, but one more loss for any of these teams and they are finished so im not that worried about these guys
heres what i need to happen today
STL @ BUF - STL W
DAL @ CIN - CIN W
TEN @ IND - TEN W
NYJ @ JAC - JAC W
SD @ PIT - SD W
BAL @ WAS - WAS W
MIA @ SF - SF W
i honestly think the bills, jets, and dolphins will all lose today and there hopes will be finished
i also think the ravens will lose to the redskins, despite the ravens always playing good against rookie QBs
sadly, i see the colts and steelers winning today though
today of course ill be mainly watching the bengals play, but be flipping back and forth at the colts and steelers game still, mainly the steelers one. maybe the ravens one and bills and jets if i cant find any other good games. i will be watching the dolphins game in the 2nd half of the day
----------------------
PREDICTION
the cowboys will be playing with heavy hearts this game so they better be careful. yes tony romo is terrible and its at home, but like i mentioned before, hes better on the road. also a funny stat i found was the bengals havent won a week 14 game since 2007. uh oh
still we are hot. the momentum cant last forever, but i dont see it stopping this week

enjoy the game for you steeler and colts fans that want the cowboys to win, and for you giants and redskins fans that want the bengals to win (no redskin fans on here though at the moment)
